When I heard about the Vignette Party for Funky Junk Interior’s Saturday Night Special, I could hardly resist participating. I was really looking forward to running around my house with a camera, playing with all of my things, but I have been bed-bound today. I was pleased to find so many vignette pictures in my album already, so I have plenty to share. Some of these pictures are staged to show off my hand painted pieces and some are from around my house. I have two toddlers at the moment, so I have learned to live with clean tabletops and I can’t wait for the time when I can really start decorating below 3 feet again!

What incredibly lovely things! Wonderful photo work too. Fantastic.
I want all of your white dishes NOW. 🙂 I have a very small collection and have been on the lookout for a soup tureen for a loooong time at thrift stores. I usually buy the chipped or imperfect pieces, too. I like them better for some reason.
Love your vignettes! I've always wanted to do a lamp on my kitchen counter ~ love yours.
Oh I love your ironstone of course! I worked on my piece for your party next Friday! Love your vignettes, all of them!
Have a great evening!

LOVE LOVE LOVE them all!!! I love ironstone and whiteware… I picked up some nice plates at my thrift store today for $.50 a piece… The thrift stores around here rarely have any ironstone or other goodies for really cheap. I wish you lived next door to me, so you could come do some handpainting on the hutch I'm redoing… I got the basecoat on today and will do the accent color and glazing tomorrow…. I've also been looking for topiaries EVERYWHERE and couldn't find them for under $40 each. I ended up making my own and have a tutorial going up tomorrow sometime. Go check it out…It turned out really well…

That is the most beautiful shade of blue on your pedestal. It makes me swoon! Ditto your hand painted bench. I *LOVE* everything you've painted!

Oh no! Sorry your not feeling well! But wow, you had loads of great shots on hand, lucky you.
I adore your shot of the plate/forks on the tray. So elegant! And the one that was staged for you looks right out of a magazine! But the one that really got me was over your office storage. Something about the simplicity of the lines and woodsy tones just really drew me in! That thing that looks like tinkertoys is the coolest!
Fabulous. Just like your painted stuff. Now get better soon so we can swoon over some newly done projects. 🙂
Thanks for linking up to the party!

All so beautiful!! I love the diplay on your kitchen counter. My 6 1/2 month old has just started crawling and pulling himself up. I am now having to clear all my pretties off of my low tables boo hoo. 🙁
I completely adore that wooden sewing factory piece! Each photo is beautiful and inspiring!

Love you ironstone and bakelite collections! You've done well with those. It's so much fun to say you bought it for only a dollar – I love that! Beautiful pictures.
