Move Slow & Make Things Giveaway No. 6

The launch of my new book,  Move Slow & Make Things, is one week away!  This is when the nerves start to kick in.  I’ve done everything I can to make a beautiful book, and now it’s in the hands of the readers.  Of course, I have dreams for this book.  I hope it does well and it speaks to the people who need it most.

If you haven’t already, you can preorder the book HERE.  Don’t forget to sign up to receive your preorder bonuses HERE.

For this giveaway, I’m so excited to partner with Iron Orchid Designs.  I had the opportunity to collaborate with Sally of IOD on a collection of Christmas transfers using my oil painting.  In the book, I write about making room for others and making connections.  We can create on our own, but I believe our creative work greatly benefits from collaboration and partnering with like-minded artists.  Working with Sally on these transfers pushed me as an artist and showed me some possibilities with my work that I hadn’t considered.  (I’ll share more about the creation of this collection in a future post.)

To celebrate both the launch of the book and the IOD x Marian Parsons Cotswold Christmas collection, here is what we’re including in the giveaway…

1 Decor Transfer: A Cotswold Christmas

 – 8 Pages | 8” x 12” | Full Color | Celebrating the timeless charm of the English countryside at Christmastime, this collection captures classic English farmhouse style, festive wreath traditions, and delightful animals that add charming detail to your projects.

I preordered your book today as a tangible way to show support for all of the inspirational, educational and thoughtful content you have shared for many years at no cost to your readers. You have remained true to us during the many shifts and struggles in the climate of Blogging, and even as your time spent painting and writing books is a more lucrative endeavor. Beekman Arms Inn | Rhinebeck, NY

Mom and I left Thursday morning to drive a little over five hours to Rhinebeck, NY, for the Country Living Fair.  Our plan was to meander our way up, stopping at antique malls along the way.  That plan didn’t materialize because I didn’t have much time before the trip to

Shopping Wish List for the Country Living Fair

I have become a big believer in sharing my shopping wish lists publicly before going to an antique market.  It’s a bit like wearing my “lucky sweatshirt” when the Commanders have a game (which I do), but it often proves to be effective. Remember before the Lucketts Spring Market when
