Oh man, Christmas shopping! Some years, I am right on the ball, and other years, it sneaks up on me. Just today, Jeff and I were talking about Christmas shopping and he said, “Wasn’t Thanksgiving yesterday?” If you’re feeling that way and you’re still looking to put up a few gifts, I have picked out some from Walmart that might help you with someone on your list. I trolled through the to see if anything jumped out at me.
I don’t like to recommend things I haven’t bought myself, so I found some stuff I liked or already own and love…
I loved for the boys and buying a couple of pairs was a no-brainer. (Their shoe size changes hourly, it seems.) I’ve bought some slippers from before and I like that they are cushy, comfy, and not too expensive, so if Sebastian decides to have one as a snack, I don’t have to get too upset about it. Also, when the boys’ feet grow by lunch time, I don’t have to be too upset about that, either.

come in a variety of colors and are just $15. They also have thick, rubber soles, so they can be worn inside or out.

My boys are at the age where they want expensive electronics, so it’s nice to find a few inexpensive gifts to open and enjoy before we get to the big presents.

A couple of different styles of were also on the . Both Calvin and I wear an Apple Watch and we both love them. He wears it to help manage his diabetes since he can get blood sugar readings sent to the watch. I like tracking my steps and other overall health stats like heart rate and, since I am still in the process of healing a broken foot, my step symmetry.

Of course, we use them for a lot more…music, texting, etc, but we mostly own them for health benefits. I also just like how my looks and that I can change out the bands. I chipped in on one for my dad, so he could monitor his heart rate and oxygen levels.
This makes a great gift for so many people, but I think it’s especially nice for people who are working on improving or maintaining their health.

We don’t do matching family jammies, but we do give jammies as gifts, typically on Christmas Eve so they can be worn Christmas morning. I mean, you just can’t go wrong with a thick, fluffy robe, footie jammies you’ll only wear around family, or a velvety soft pajama set.

I picked up by Joyspun. They are super soft, sized so they fit loose and comfortably, and are under $20.

I tried to capture the soft texture of these pajamas, but they are even softer in person and have washed well so far. What’s nice is that they are soft, but not too heavy, so they are good for sleeping in.

Another thing I bought for myself was . I’ve been looking for an oversized, comfortable cardigan sweater that I could throw on over a t-shirt or a button-up shirt if I wanted to dress it up. I like that this one was classic navy (I mostly wear blue), but it also has some fun elements like the full sleeves and colored stripes. It keeps it from being too serious.

It hangs to a nice length to wear with skinny jeans or leggings or to even wear over a dress.

I spotted several designer brands on the and I don’t normally get hung up on name brands, but I thought was so cute. Of course, I bought the navy one, but it comes in a bunch of colors. It’s such a practical size and I like the classic, sleek details. For the people in your life who really love showing off brand names, there are some great purses at budget-friendly prices.

One thing that I already owned, but was on the was this women’s coat. I bought this Orolay coat last year after hearing rave reviews and it is a great, warm coat, coming in at just under $100. One of the things I like most about it is the side zippers to let the coat out or to cinch it in. When I’m wearing lots of layers, I can unzip the side and give my clothes a bit more room. When I’m throwing it on over something light, I can zip up the sides for a better fit. It also has tons of pockets, so I can put what I need in my pockets when I go for a walk on a cold day.
I bought this for Minnesota winters and I wore it a lot last year. I haven’t unpacked it, yet, but I’m sure I’ll have to wear it some in Maryland, too.

Now, I have more Christmas shopping to do! I hope this list helped you find a few things you can either gift to others or buy as a treat for yourself. Whether you still need to buy some Christmas decorations, presents for friends and family, hostess gifts, matching family jammies, an outfit to wear to a holiday gathering or ingredients for baking, is a one-stop-shop.
How are you coming along on your Christmas shopping? (Make me feel better for not being done, yet!)

Wow Marian, you’re way ahead of me in the shopping game! When my kids were young I was always finished by Thanksgiving. Now it seems like I cannot even start thinking about it until the middle of December. I’m going to look at Wal Mart for some great priced gifts…….thank you for sharing!
I wear a ton of black and grey. After looking at your selections here, I may have to jump on the blue train. It’s still dark, but with a little color!
Great gift ideas, I’m definitely not done shopping, and to add insult to injury, my husband and I have Covid. Consequently, haven’t been able to put up any decorations because I feel so bad. So I know you’ll finish soon, just enjoy. Merry Christmas!!!!
When were you going to reveal the new wrapping paper design?? ???
I can hardly believe the cool clothes at my local Walmart this season. I’ve purchased great jeans, sweaters, and blouses that would be 5 times the price anywhere else. I can create all kinds of stylish outfits for little cash.
