I received a lot of requests for a tutorial on how I made the mirrored side tables. Well, I was a bad blogger and didn’t take pictures every step of the way…
…so, I made a video for you. I explain the process and share the information about cost, etc. This was a spur of the moment video, so you’re getting a glimpse of how I look most days. Bandanna, sweatshirt, jeans…oh yeah.
Now, go make your own!

PS – The $35 price I quoted is for both side tables, not just one.

These turned out great! I saw an episode of Design on a Dime (HGTV) and they did something similar. Very pretty =)
Gorgeous!! And love the bandanna!! 🙂
Simply beautiful! I love the transformation that these sweet little night stands took on. You are very talented!
Cheers

Love it! Thanks It's now on my to do list 🙂
thank you thank you thank you for posting! I love the look of mirrored tables but all the ones I've found are out of my price range (which is close to zero!), I bought a really similar table to the one in your picture (for about $20 at the salvation army) sanded and spray painted it white and was hoping to do the mirror thing but I couldn't quite figure out how.
lovely room. can we see more of the draped area over the bed? is it somewhere else on the blog? Lovely, lovely, lovely.
I've always thought of "mirror" decor as tacky, but this has updated my opinion. simply beautiful.
Just ravishing! I eff the modification that these sugariness young nighttime stands took on. You are very talented! Thanks

Great tutorial, Marian! Very easy to follow and I hope one day soon I will tackle this same project. I love how your night tables turned out.
It's wonderful!! You did a great job. I'd like to try it. Thank you for the tutorial. Kathi

love, love, love! Isn't it so thrilling when you can completely transform something with such a small amount of money! Great job!
Absolutely BRILLIANT!
SO beautiful! What a great way to turn an average piece into a piece with a ton of WOW!
Those look so fabulous!
Thanks for the tutorial. WOW! Only $35 to cut all that mirror. That is a great deal.
BTW, I like your new profile pic.

Hi, what a cute video! Thanks for sharing how you did this. Nice to see you onscreen!
These pieces are two of my favorites. The mirror may have cost only $35 but they look like a million bucks! And you're a natural at video how-to. Look out, Martha!
I love them! I love them so much I posted about how they will complete my master room redo, once I find the perfect table candidates. I linked to your posting.
So inspiring.
Wow. These are fantastic! I have a newer but really dated piece that I think I'm going to try this on. Who am I kidding…by "try this on" I mean "think about doing three years from now". Timeless (smile).
Great pieces!
The tables turned out great!
I know this post is 6 months old, but I watched your tutorial and wanted to mention something about mirrors and adhesive. There is a special kind of adhesive that should be used when sticking mirrors to any surface so that the adhesive won't eat through the mirror backing. It's at the home improvement store with the caulk. (comes in the same kind of tube and is applied with a caulking gun)
I've been told this is what should be used because if the adhesive does eat through the silvery mirror part, you'll start to see it through the glass.
I’d LOVE to watch the video, but the link says that it doesn’t exist! Any chance there is another way for me to view it? Thank you!
Hi! I *LOVE* your mirrored side tables, so I was very sad when it said that your video tutorial does not exist! Do you have it somewhere else now? Thanks in advance! 🙂
