I typically post my previews a few days ahead of an original art sale, but May has been so busy that this sale snuck up

Before I share my Lucketts recap, I wanted to let you know my next original art sale is Wednesday, May 20, 20206, at 1:00 pm Eastern. For those interested in early access at noon, you can sign up HERE. On Thursday night, we packed our van with oil painting supplies,

I’ve reached that tipping point in my life where I feel like I probably have enough stuff. No doubt, I passed that point years ago, but hunting for antiques and just the right piece for my house is still so much fun! I have noticed I walk out of more

Nothing says Fall better than pumpkins & gourds! Thanks for sharing these FAB photos!!!
I am making a bunch of "what ever material I have" pumpkins today. Its great because its material from other things in the house so they match the decor. I will be posting them tomorrow. I just wish I could take as beautiful of pictures as you do….:)
Thanks,
Karin

Now I wish I still had my paper shredder. If I want this look I have to cut the paper with scissors. But no running!
Those are so pretty! It is fun to just
take pictures sometimes 🙂
I love fall decor and especially pumpkins — your photos are beautiful!
Beautiful photos — I love pumpkins! I just posted about some painted white — if you ever have a moment (I know MMS is ridiculously busy, though) come on over and tell me what you think!

You've got an eye for pumpkins (and for everything else I would say). My favortie Season with all the wonderful Fall colors and images! Happy Sunday- xo Diana
Love your pictures! Did you shred pages from an old book for the "nesting" material? That is too clever!
Love, love, love. Can you say "pin it?" -the shredded pages are genius!
So the next time I see a paper shredder at an auction for $2 it's coming home with me!
Love the pumpkins. We'll be making pumpkins here tonight with some vintage fabric that was stashed away for a fun day.
Oh my! The pics scream Autumn in the Country to me. The shredded paper is a cute idea!
Beautiful and inspiring images as usual! Thanks for being here every day with some great eye candy.
So pretty!! I love the green!!
Gorgeous – I love mini pumpkins!
Happy Fall!!! 🙂 LOVE your pictures!!
LOVE THEM! 🙂
I need to ask a few questions about chalk paint, please!
I have a table (nothing fancy… came from Pier One several years ago) that I want to paint with the ASCP. I LOVE greens & leaning toward using the Versailles for the legs, apron (or whatever you call the part the tabletop sits on?), & chairs.
In a perfect world, I would like to have a stained-wood top. But, since this pieces does not fall in the "fine furniture" category, my concern with staining it is that the outcome might not look like I want it to look. Plus, this is the table that gets the MOST use… it's in our kitchen & it's used EVERYDAY. For eating, homeschool, my son's art projects, playdoh creations (plastic knives, cutters….) & hot wheel landing spot. As you can imagine, it has quite a few scratches & looks distressed even though it was not distressed when I purchased it. It's not a cool, "worn" distressed look… it's a hot mess! Not really, but – sort of!! Quite frankly, it looks like the display model at your local Pier One where customers have scooted stuff across the top that wasn't supposed to be!
Now, my question: what color would you recommend for the top? I think it needs some contrast somewhere. I've never used the chalk paint & will have to order without seeing anything in person. I'm not a blue person… I mainly use all shades of green (pear shades are my favorite), sage, warm golds, paprikas or cinnamon colors. Have you seen the Coco color? Would that possibly work? What about Ochre? Or Country Grey? I'm open to suggestions… I might even consider staining if you have some suggestions for making it looked distressed.

Thanks in advance!
I can't wait for the pretty pumpkins to hit the stores here. I'm loving the green and white varieties, although I do love a good ole fashioned orange pumpkin too!
lovely. now if only the weather here would cooperate. not that I dont LOVE 70 degrees and sunny everyday, it just doesnt feel like fall. ya know?
I like the white pumpkins, I might paint some this year?
So pretty! I LOVE that green one! I'll have to go look for one tomorrow! Thanks for the inspiration!

What quirky, delightful, long stems on those little pumpkins!! I just know you selected them with the stems in mind!! Cute, cute.
I just love little pumpkins….actually all pumpkins and gourds & the more unusual the better! These look very pretty situated in your pretty ironware & pottery.
These are beautiful!! I suddenly want to go pumpkin picking….
What is it about shredded paper? The simple beauty of it speaks to me. Isn't it amazing how much that detail adds to your display? Loe the look you have going there.
Love your pumpkin pics – Happy Fall!
I love the green pumpkin..
