FFF

Welome to FFF on the new blog.  I’m assuming it’s all going to happen without a hitch…fingers crossed.

Here are some favorites from last week…

I absolutely adore this bench painted by Kim from Savvy Southern Style.  The lines, the caning, oh…those legs.  Just stunning.

Whitney and Dustin from The Rooster & the Hen show their resourcefulness with a whitewashed pallet headboard.  It looks so fabulous, it’ll have you looking at any blank wall in your house…

Gina from Shabby Creek Cottage took the plunge into the upholstery world and turned a $2.50 chair into this cutie.  Awesome job, Gina.

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Before you go, I wanted to let you know there’s a great sale happening at Bellechic on Saturday.  The sale will be featuring items from one of my sponsors, Baby Jewels .  They are offering 13 different stamp designs (including “property of”, bookplate stamps and note cards) for the lowest price ever.  These make great personalized stocking stuffers, so check it out!

  1. Thank you for hosting Furniture Feature Friday; it is always great! Your features are amazing! Congrats on your new blog site- looks fantastic!

  2. Always enjoyed Furniture Friday – I find so many great projects on so many blogs. Your move to WordPress appears seamless although I know from your comments a lot of time and effort went in to making it work.
    Thanks for hosting.

  3. Marion, thanks so much for featuring my bench. I am so truly honored when there are so many great furniture links each week.

  4. Thank you for hosting. I linked a few pieces of furniture I finished this week, and I’m not sure if you’d consider a magazine rack as a piece of furniture? It’s #53 and I completely understand if it’s not allowed and you need to delete. I definitely won’t think you’re mean 🙂 (per your link up instructions). Take care, thanks again and hope you have a great weekend.

  5. Thanks for hosting this! I cannot imagine going through all the links to find your favorites among all the other things you are doing! You are an inspiration!!! I love the new layout and I am completely new to this whole blogging thing…I just started one on WordPress (guess I did something right!) and I have been having trouble finding someone to help me design my site to represent me and was wondering if you had any suggestions of who to contact? I have looked online and on Etsy, but I’m always a fan of a good ole referral! Thanks so much for your time!!!

  6. I can’t find C&B in my area. I would love to win.
Love the easy table instructions. They could be used for any size or height table. Thanks.

  7. I’m new to blogging and link parties. I became a follower this evening, but have admired your blog for several months. You ooooze creativity and I am NEVER disappointed. Thank you for hosting the link party! 🙂

  8. Marian, Thanks for hosting 🙂 I feel silly though because I can’t seem to find your button so I can post it on my page. Did it move somewhere when you changed your blog over and I can’t find it? I just wanted ot make sure I was following the rules and re-linked my post back up with you!

    1. It’s still on the side bar, but this is a good point. I should put it in the post, so it’s super easy to do. I’m not hyper about everyone linking back. It’s nice to do, but I’m not going to “blacklist” folks who forget or don’t do it (or can’t find the button!) 🙂

  9. I finally got back into painting some furniture after a year break. I sure missed it!

It’s my first time to post and I messed up the first link 131 it didn’t show a photo. I don’t know how to delete it. Sorry! I reposted 133.

    Thanks for the unending inspiration.

  10. Marian,
I am so embarrassed but I posted my link four times. The message kept telling me it didn’t upload so I kept doing it and finally gave up. I just came in and saw what happened. I tried to delete three of them but I cannot, at least I don’t know how. I apologize for the inconvenience.

    1. That’s ok. There are always a few people who have that problem, so I went through and deleted the duplicates. No worries!

  11. Thanks for hosting! I also loooved all your shots of the Lucketts Christmas open house. If only I didn’t live on the opposite Coast :).
