FFF

Hello all of my furniture-loving friends!  My mom arrived today safely and we hit the ground running.  We stopped at Lucketts to fluff my room, which was desperately needed I assure you!  I also shopped my own space a bit and bought some over sized pine cones from my fellow Lucketts’ vendor, Ann.  Now I’m cozied on the couch, picking my favorites and catching up on e-mail.

Here are the pieces that caught my eye from last week…

As a mom of boys, I really appreciate this handsome bedroom set painted by Jessica from Paint in My Hair.  The colors and styling are wonderful and nature even chipped in with those beautiful orange leaves.

I love this dresser by the Modern Cottage Company.  It’s so simple and then those knobs put it over the top and make it super special.   I also love the bean wreath.  Fun!

Katie from Sweet Girl Expressions rescued a poorly painted locker from a dumpster (you go, girl) and turned it into a really cool piece.  The sign on it made me smile and I am totally using that text on one of my hand painted signs.  You have to check out the before picture on this one!

Enjoy the party!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

  9. I’ve got a guestion, have you ever made your own chalk paint like #11 did to paint the dresser? I was just wondering how it compared to ASCP chalk paint. I have never done either, but getting ready to try!

    1. I have not tried the “home recipe” for chalk paint. Based on what I know about paint, the mixture doesn’t seem to be a good substitution, but probably still a great trick to use to get a nice look. I’ll have to test it out…when I have the time! 🙂

  10. didn’t have anything this week to show but I love all the ideas everyone contributed!

if you get a chance come take a peek at my bedroom turned mudroom

  11. I’m not receiving your blog anymore……have you taken me out of your loop…..I miss your post……please put me back so I can receive my daily “FIX” of Miss Mustard Seed……Thanks
