furniture feature friday | favorites & link party

Furniture Feature Friday
I’ve been working away on furniture myself this week, for the Chapel Market, so it’s been nice to take a little break and get some inspiration from last week’s links.  Here are a few of the standouts…
Danielle from Finding Silver Pennies gives a fall tour of her home and there are so many beautiful pieces of furniture that I just had to share.  I especially love this wooden bench with the buffalo check cushion.

Entryway for Fall

I love vintage canvas laundry baskets, but it’s sometimes hard to figure out exactly what to do with them.  They’re not as pretty, but the lightweight plastic variety we have these days is just more convenient to use.  Kathy from Past, Present & Patina  turned one into a side table with amazing results!  That’s it.  A vintage canvas laundry basket just made my list.

Lastly, this sweet dresser by Kara from Lilac Shack Furniture caught my eye.  The color is so pretty and looks very fitting on this piece.

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!

  2. Marion, Wow, I am so honored to have my little dresser featured on your FFF! Super huge thank you! Your shop, blog and work are such an inspiration to me, and I love that you are a real supporter of others in your field. Much appreciation for all you do…God bless you and your business (as I see He definitely does :))

  3. Thank you Marian for the party! I’ve been enjoying watching the progression of your new studio space – look’n good! You’ve also inspired me to focus on collecting more photo props – I am on a mission. LOL After your photography tip post, I got more acquainted with my (I’m almost embarrased to say, Canon PowerShot A800) manual settings (a big girl camera is on my wish list), dusted off my tripod, and did a photo shoot. I was already shooting in manual mode but just finding and paying more attention to the apeture settings really helped – thanks!
