The Stylish Patina Barn (and giveaway)

I’ve mentioned my friend (picker and sponsors as well), Kelly of Stylish Patina, in the past.  She is a gal who has decided to follow her passion for treasure hunting and turn it into a business.  Kelly currently sells out of two locations, including The Foundry  just outside of Washington, DC.  She’s now gone a step further and is starting a barn sale.  Wow, right?

The Stylish Patina Barn is having its grand opening Nov 18,19,20 from 10-5pm in Frederick, MD (address is below.)  Not only does it look like a great place to shop, but there will be food and things to keep the rest of the family entertained while you do your thing.

The barn will featire a wonderful eclectic mix of styles and pieces that are ready to use as is and some bargains that need some work (for people like me.)  You will also be able to purchase Annie Sloan Chalk Paint there!  Here are some of the great dealers Kelly rounded up…

Celeste from Catfish Creative Furnishings
Celeste is the woman that brought Annie Sloan Chalk Paint (ASCP) to the D.C. Metro Area! She will have an Annie Sloan booth filled with paint for you to purchase while asking her questions about how best to use the paint on your projects at home. She will also be registering for her upcoming seminars where you can learn how to become a ASCP pro. Celeste also has a booth at On A Whim in Lucketts. Learn more here www.catfishcreativefurnishings.com.

Kathy from Vignettes
Kathy you may know from her many years as a dealer at On A Whim in Lucketts or from her debut on the Nate Berkus Show! We feel lucky that Kathy is taking a little time away from her interior design business to get back into sharing her fabulous style with us at The Barn! You can follow Kathy through her blog All About Vignettes.

Sarah Jean & Co
Sarah and Katherine are two talented gals from the Purceville area. You may know Sarah Jean from her shop she had in Lincoln, Va., from her booth at the Lucketts Fair over the past few years or from her spot at It’s Bazaar on 21st Street. Follow Saran & Katherine through Facebook to see what these girls are up to!

For the holidays they will have tons of vintage christmas ornaments and other wonderful items for holiday decorating and gift items such as fabulous costume jewelry, vintage hand bags, european handbacks, candles and more!

To celebrate the occassion, Kelly is having a giveaway for a $100 gift card to Williams Sonoma AND a $50 gift card to Stylish Patina (where you can buy ASCP online.) Pretty nice giveaway, huh?  Here’s how to enter…

For your first chance: Leave a comment

For a second chance: Visit the Stylish Patina blog and become a follower.  Leave a comment here letting me know you’ve done that.

For one last chance: “Like” Stylish Patina on FaceBook and leave me a comment letting me know you did.

The giveaway is opened to residents of the lower 48 US states and readers over the age of 18.  The giveaway ends Tuesday, November 15 at midnight PST and a winner will be announced on Wednesday.

The Stylish Patina barn will also be open Dec 2,3,4th.  It’s located at 4051 Stanford Ct., Frederick MD, 4 miles from Chatrueuse & Co and 11 miles from Lucketts.
