Somewhat Simple Guest Appearance

This has been a crazy day for me and I totally forgot to announce an exciting event!  I am the guest blogger over at Somewhat Simple today.

Steph and I tripped over each other’s blogs one day and connected immediately.  She has one of the top “mommy blogs” out there and features beautiful photos, fun projects, organizational tips, mean planning, and much more.  If you have not seen her blog, check it out!

  1. Congrats to you! Great post over there!

Thought I'd let you know – just finished buying the material for my grain sack – I'm gonna give it a go this weekend! I'll keep you posted!

  2. I found you through your guest spot on Somewhat Simple and couldn't be happier to find a "local" blogger after my own heart (I'm near Hagerstown)! I've recently fallen in love with thrifting, but am still working on that "vision" for transforming things. My favorite find to date – a vintage doll cradle for $3.50 that has a different screw in every joint. After a little sprucing up, I plan to fill it with Easter goodies for our 2 girls and pretend that the Easter Bunny brought them a very special basket this year! ANYWAY, love your blog and can't wait to read more!

dusting off the sewing machines…

It’s been a minute since I had my sewing machines out.  I had to reacquaint myself with winding the bobbins and getting the needles properly threaded, but I slowly figured it out.  The funny thing is that I needed to wear reading glasses over my contacts to thread the needles

I realized once I started working on this post that I was chattier than I expected!  I only posted twice on the blog this week and twice last week, and I think I’m feeling that!  Writing and posting on this blog have been part of my creative process for over
