Junk Bonanza Giveaway!

When I take my sons with me to yard sales, my four year old will often look at the offerings spread out on a front lawn and proclaim, “Aw, this is all just junk.”  He’s learning well.  What he hasn’t yet learned is that there is just junk and then there’s junk.  The good stuff.  The stuff that most people think is junk, but that people like Ki and Donna know can be fabulous if you look past the junkiness of it.

If you love junk, there’s a place for you.  A time and place for you.  It’s Canterbury Park, Shakopee, MN.  It’s September 15, 16  and 17, 2011.  It’s Junk Bonanza.

The annual Junk Bonanza brings together more than 130 juried vendors of select vintage treasures, junk and antiques! (Oh, look at that bank of lockers in the back of this picture.  Sigh.)

In honor of the upcoming event, Junk Bonanza is offering an awesome prize package!
The giveaway includes:

* 2 VIP tickets, which allow for admission all three days of the event, including the Early Bird on opening day, two hours before the show opens to the general public.
* A Junk Bonanza tote
* A Junk hat from the Junk Revolution store
* A copy of the latest Flea Market Style magazine, rolling off the press around the end of August!

To enter, just comment on this post by midnight PST on Sunday, August 14 and be sure to leave your e-mail address if it’s not included in your profile.

The winner will be chosen randomly and announced on Monday, August 15.

Learn more about the indoor, rain-or-shine Bonanza at www.junkbonanza.com, or on the blog at junkbonanza.blogspot.com, where profiles of individual vendors are running almost daily.

  15. I was reading your blog and became distracted by the COOL stuff in the photos….as I went back to read again, I realized that you, too, were distracted. I love to read, but bring on the junk and I'm lost in it. I read a little comment about the 127 sale. I live on the route and can't shop as I offer our wares and crap-tastic junk to other connoisseurs of discarded treasure. Email:mb_longstreth@yahoo.com

  40. What an AWESOME giveaway!!!!! Thank you and hope I'm picked to make the trek all the way from Michigan…we just installed new hardwood flooring and bought a couple of new furniture pieces so now I'm ready to repaint everything and get some new pieces. 🙂

  41. What an awesome giveaway! I have been to the Oronoco Gold Rush Days flea market in MN 20+ years ago and still have many of those pieces that I had my parents haul home for me. I was just out of college and recognized a good investment in "junk" (antiques) when I saw it. Now being a decorative finisher and designer, I would love to hit the Junk Bonanza and see what treasures I could score!
