Welcome to another Furniture Feature Friday. I’ve had a busy week, so this one really snuck up on me. I finally got around to looking at all of the links and was really torn about who to pick as a winner until I saw this beautiful hand painted console table by Lauren from Gathering Moss. Blue and white…hand painted…come on, ladies. How could I not pick this one?
I also love the way she has arranged this table. There is so much texture and interest…just lovely, Lauren.
She used a painted piece from Wisteria as her inspiration and I think she did an amazing job with the hand painted detail. The soft contrast is a real key, here. All of these mixed patterns in a high contrast would get a little busy and wouldn’t look as elegant.
Unfortunately, this took Lauren about a million years to complete, so I’m not sure we’ll see another piece any time soon. Until then, I found this other chair that she made over to share with you. I love the Swedish look of the finish and fabric she chose.
Well done, Lauren. You should feel really proud of this table.
So, I can’t wait to see what everyone has to share this week.
As a reminder, here are the rules:
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. You can share makeovers, thrifty finds, favorite furniture pieces, great arrangements, or pieces on your wish list.
2.) Post a permalink, not the link to your blog.
3.) The link party closes Saturday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite and feature their post and blog.
What a beautiful table and I love the delicate hand painted design she chose! Looking forward to seeing everyone's projects.

So, so sorry. I posted my first link wrong so did it again! Dang nabbit…I was first too!!! I don't think I can delete the wrong one, can you? Oh, pretty please? (it went to your home link and not the linky link)

I love this table! I think the colors are subtle, but the pattern provides interest. She did my favorite harlequin pattern and I love the way she decorated the top. Just enough without fighting with the design on the table.
Oh that table is a oerfect shade of blue.
Please stop by and enter my giveaway.
I luv luv luv the table! The baskets underneath and the accessories on top. The colors and paint details are so pretty. The chair is such an added bonus.
NO WAY!!!! i am so excited! thank you so much for choosing me, miss mustard seed, and thank y'all for your kind comments. this was definitely a labor of love 🙂
and surprise: i just happened to finish another (less intricate) furniture makeover last night and am almost finished with a third project, so there will definitely be more blogging at gathering moss very soon! nothing like new year's resolutions to get a gal going!
thank you again, i am so thrilled!
What an excellent table! I've got many thrifty finds around my house, but not alot of before photos. Maybe I should start posting about what I already have….hmmmm! Thanks for hosting this fun meme! Dee Dee
I posted my giveaway!! Hope that is ok. I just need all the traffic I can get. We're friends right?? Right? 🙂 Thanks!
Hi
I have been meaning to get over to visit your blog since Donna at Funky Junk and you are doing a series together, being from PA I should have made it a priority. Gettysburg is a bit over an hour from me. I am in Lansdale. The piece you chose from Gathering Moss is truly beautiful and will be a keeper, not something she will paint over again in a few years. She and you are super talented. Looking forward to stopping by again.
Diane
Thanks for hosting. I've been so busy with my living room makeover, just now arriving at the party to mingle!
Hope you're having a good weekend!
