Furniture Feature Friday – Favorites & a Link Party

Thanks so much for all of the great comments this week.  That grass sofa really sparked some fun remarks, I was laughing out loud at some of the responses to my day, and I really appreciated the encouragement I received from my post about my growing business.  I’m even going to start working with a new “picker” as a result of that post!  You just never know…

I did want to take a minute to address all of “my moms” out there.  I know a few of you are concerned about the pace of my day yesterday, but I don’t work that much every day.  I’m getting ready for a big event, have two articles due and am doing some consulting work, so it’s just one of those times.  Most days are balanced a little bit better.

Now, to my favorites from last week…

Emily from Emily’s Upcycled Furniture painted this primitive dresser and now it’s perfection.  You know I’m a fan of blue and white AND two tone pieces, so this was right up my alley.

Sarah from Three Boys is writing a wonderful series on upholstering.  If you don’t have a “Ruthie” in your life (my upholsterer), this is a great series to follow.

I immediately saw the potential in this chair when my friend, Jami of Freckled Laundry, showed it on her blog a few months ago.  She has now made it everything it was meant to be.
Now it’s your turn to share…

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture.  Please, please, please…just furniture.  If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture.  You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list!  Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.
