Good evening, all! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to make my picks tonight, but I squeak them in. Kriste and I have had a full day of upholstery, sewing, painting and then she and her husband hung out with us for dinner. We were all laughing and the boys were highly entertained and entertaining in turn. It’s been a good, full day. So, here are my picks from last week…
This burled campaign dresser by Christina of Phoenix Restoration
is stunning. She totally did this piece justice by giving it a fresh look, but highlighting the original features that make this piece shine. Well done.
Cami from Tidbits
found this table in her grandfather’s junk yard. I can understand someone not seeing the potential in it, but the faded paint, rusty hardware, X legs and even the warped top endeared it to me.
Lastly, Colleen from 58 Water Street transformed this table with paint on the base and a washed technique on the top. She stripped of the shiny orange finish and now it has a more timeless look.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!
