Good evening, all! I finally had the chance to do some furniture painting of my own today and I still have a few pieces waiting in the wings, so I enjoyed getting some inspiration while looking through last week’s entries. There were a lot of good ones! Here are a few of my favorites…
I think Steve and Meg of Furniture-Ology did a remarkable job bringing this desk back to life. The transformation really is incredible from what it was to this beauty…
Angie from Knick of Time worked with her husband to make this cabinet out of new lumber and antique windows. The styling and the paper wall behind it are perfection.
This piece is far from my style, but I think it is amazing. Martha of Martha Leone Design has a knack for making thrift store/yard sale pieces look modern and like works of art. The weathered X against the solid black and the gold knobs just work. Love it.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!

I still love, love that horse What did it cost? Looks much better now. I agree RH should follow your lead. Better yet, come up with your own horse to sell, your version will always be better, thanks for sharing.

How do I send a pic for this – I could send a pic – I do not have a web-site only e mail? I know after all this time, I should know. Hope all is well!
Hi Marian,
Thanks so much for the feature of my X Bar. It’s a bit far from your amazing style so I’m extra appreciative that you featured it on your blog! I’m also praying for your family as you adjust to the new reality of your dear son’s diabetes. God is faithful and sustains us through the difficult providences we face on this side of heaven. Be much encouraged.
