Furniture Feature Friday – Favorites & A Link Party

Good evening, everyone!  It’s time for another round up of some of the best furniture on the blogs.   I hope you enjoy my favorites from last week and the links for this week.

Diane from In My Own Style created this home center with an old card catalog, a shelf, some bun feet and a homemade chalk paint recipe.  I think it looks brilliant and super functional.  I love the hardware!

Angie from Knick of Time shows clever ways to use parts from broken chairs.  This one was my favorite…

Kim from Savvy Southern Style is my kind of girl…she’ll paint a piece and paint it again and have no hesitation painting it again.  The result is this mixed-medium table that harmoniously displays ASCP, MMSMP and some gilding wax.  I think the result is beautiful.

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

  1. Hi Marian
Thanks so much for hosting again!
Hope it’s okay that I linked up my bedroom mini makeover. I know it’s not specifically a piece of furniture though there are lots of revitalised pieces of furniture that have gone into making up the space as a whole 🙂

  2. I’m loving the great furniture pieces you featured. Kim’s table makes me think of an old weathered book cover. So very cool. Thanks so much for taking the time to keep the party going!

  3. I love things that have painted over tons of times. That is the fun of painting something! That table is really unique. Great pick. Hope you are enjoying some much needed time to take care of your home! It feels so good to put time into your own home when it has been put on the back burner! I am focusing on my office right now, and what a difference it has made in how I feel about being able to create!

  5. Good morning! I linked up an up-cycled window to mirror. I’m not sure if it falls within the definition of furniture or not so will totally understand if it gets deleted. Thanks for hosting – always love to see what ideas everyone comes up with! — Pauline

  7. Every time I come on here to see the FFF’s submissions I am just blown away by the talent. This week these pieces are just beautiful. Thanks again for hosting, I posted up my “knacktastic” mini-buffet and a dresser porch planter! 🙂

  8. OMG! I am in love with this! How cute would it be to have a little window box with mason jars in it? I’m thinking herb garden. You have just made my day!

  9. I guess waking up at 3am paid off! I do visit blogs a lot, but I don’t have a blog. I hae seen the pinterest button a few times, and never paid much attention to it. I just went to that website, pinterest. Okay, I am sorry if I sound dumb, but what is it about? Or, why would someone like me want to visit that site? Thanks Amanda! –Mindy

  11. Oh my – My mother has all 4 of those bowls in the top picture. She got them as a wedding present, since she has never had a dishwasher, they still gleam and I will get them one day. I received the peach bowl set when I married over 30 years ago – I still have the set but the husband? No, not so much. I am up (it’s 4AM here) with my list and maps – there 8 sales in town today – not bad for early spring – and I plan to hit every single one of them!!

  12. This is a difficult time in our country, of which most of us haven’t ever seen. The only ones that can draw a comparison from the 1918 pandemic are mostly gone. History is not to be ignored. What lesson will we all learn from this? This could be our Great Awakening from years of plenty.
