FURNITURE FEATURE FRIDAY |

Oh, girls… I really got lost in last week’s links.  At one point I had a ridiculous number of tabs opened that I wanted to select as favorites.  You wow me every week, but some weeks are standouts.  We must all be hitting the workshops as spring is making an appearance…although a somewhat shy appearance in my neck of the woods.  She peeked her head out for a few days and then winter popped back in for an encore with a snow flurry.  Well, that’s just how it goes…
Here are my favorites from last week…
I couldn’t NOT feature this kitchen makeover with MMSMP.  The Sideways House accomplished this kitchen makeover for around $200, which is pretty darn impressive.  I love the fun hardware, chalkboard wall and bright white trim.
I think Melanie from Lost & Found did a wonderful job on this hand painted dresser.  I think my favorite part is the coral knobs against the aqua.  This is a very pretty piece and it’s hard to look at it and not smile.
These chairs by Carie at Hilton Restoration were scary 1970’s when she bought them, but now that look classic and chic.  I’m sure grain sacks will have their hay-day and then go out of style, but I love them and think they look amazing as upholstery.  This pair is a great example of that.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!

  1. Oh Marian, thank you for featuring my waterfall chest of drawers and for your sweet comments! It’s quite a privilege, I know how many fabulous link-ups you get each week. I was inspired by your hand-painted art deco dresser from awhile back, so glad you liked my take on it.

    1. I clicked over to your dresser last week. Furniture here is rarely more than pressboard, but I actually saw a dresser JUST LIKE this one at a garage sale last week. It wasn’t a piece that would normally catch my eye, but I remember how nice yours looked and I smiled when I saw it. I really thought you did a fantastic job. I was going to the garage sales with my parents that day and I mentioned your dresser to them. You did really well with this one!

      1. Thank you so much Brandy! Did you end up getting the dresser? I so appreciate you taking a look at my piece, and glad it made you smile 🙂

  2. I think we are all so happy spring is showing its signs. Thanks for having this Friday link up. I’ve been enjoying reading them all and meeting new inspiration. Happy Good Friday to you dear:)

  3. I have been having so much fun this week playing with your paints!! Learning all kinds of stuff, but just enjoying the process. Thanks for hosting!
