Buy Handmade (and Hand Painted)

Some of you may have noticed a small addition to my side bar.  I have, at long last, opened my Etsy store.  I’ve been promising that I would for a while and here it is.  I only have a few things listed to start, but new items will be added regularly.
So, for those of you who cannot make it to our physical shop in downtown Gettysburg, PA, you can buy my hand painted items in your jammies from the comfort of your own home.  Some of my painted items currently listed are my hand painted lily pad lamp
I’ll also be listing some vintage and antique pieces that I find in addition to some pieces found by the owner of our shop (who has a wonderful eye for vintage accessories!)  Some vintage pieces currently listed are this adorable “Little Lady” vintage child’s stove
…a “granny chic” gold and needlepoint vintage purse
…and this sweet, frilly pink vase (one of my attic finds.)

Don’t worry; I’m not going to be shoving my Etsy store items down your throat every time you visit.  I just wanted to share the “grand opening” with all of my girls.

I have to give a shout-out to Lynette of Lynette’s LAM Blog who was brave enough to hand paint her own version of my German Grain Sack.  Good for you, Lynnette.  You should be very proud.
One last note, my sheet music table was featured on the Boardwalk Blotter by Jan from Bobby Pins and Boardwalk.  Thanks so much!

  1. Great news on the Etsy shop! Love the lilypad lamp. My sister had one almost identical to it and gave it to me to gift to my mother in law. What do you know about it? Yours looks much cuter painted.

  2. What great pieces. Congrats on opening your Etsy store. I look forward to seeing more items. Hope to visit Gettysburg, sometime in the Spring?

    Have a great day.

  3. I'm heading on over to your Etsy. I'm in the process of opening an Etsy with vintage finds and maybe handmade jewelery by my daughter. I'm making this harder then it is. I'm making myself crazy.
    Happy day to you

  4. Congratulations! All the best at etsy!

I'm hopin' that when we take the boys to Gettysburg for a field trip ( I live with three diehard Civil War history buffs) we (or I) can stop by and SHOP!

BTW, I'm painting tomorrow! Wish me luck! I'm hoping to post some pics! Thanks for your tutorials! I'm having way too much fun here!!!

  5. Good for you. I have been thinking about opening up my etsy shop too, but for some reason I keep putting it off.
Maybe I'll get around to it soon.
    You are inspiring me.

  6. Congrats on joining the wonderful world of ETSY – you're gonna love it!

I really love that plate stand too – and thanks for the shout out about my German Sack feeder – I look at it and just grin like crazy!

    Have a good one –
