Alice & Jay Giveaway

I have the pleasure tonight of introducing you to one of my sponsors and a very fun company, if you don’t know it already… Alice and Jay.  Their tag line says it all.  “Simple Splendiferous Fun.”  And they are fun.  I met the pair last May at the Lucketts Antique Market.  I didn’t have much to sell on the second day, so I had a good time mingling with other vendors and drooling over their fabulous stuff. 
Not only do Alice and Jay sell cool things like antique textiles, Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint, refurbished furniture and curiosities, they sell lamps they make out of cool things.  Things like dress forms, farm tools, industrial pieces and architectural salvage.  I have a gorgeous pair of chippy gray lamps made out of old columns from them.  I was thrilled when they wanted to partner with me as a sponsor and even more excited when they wanted to offer a giveaway to my readers. 

What are they giving away?  This pair of amazing lamps made out of antique French iron gate pieces.  They stand 35″ high, are painted in a beautiful chippy blue and come with oversized cream drum shades.  Pretty “wow”, huh?

  8. I realized when I went to the Alice and Jay blog site that I had just come across them the other day. I had been looking at different ASCP retailers and they popped up! I love their pillows, particularly their red chicken Moulins de provence pillows , and the one that says "always kiss me goodnight always kiss me good morning". I also love the vintage grey mirror! Maybe I will get lucky and get to give those lovely lamps a new home!

  105. Ohhh, what a wonderful giveaway! I am about to redo my living room after the hot water heater broke and did a number on the floors. So it's getting a makeover with paint, flooring, the whole 9 yards. Those lamps would look sooo neat!

    It's hard to pick just one fave item from the Alice and Jay site. It would have to be the gorgeous vintage mirror! It reminds me of my Grandmother's home. I love all things vintage and rustic. Brand new just won't work for me.

I would covet the Handmade Linen Queen Size Coverlet.   507. I'm new to blog world and I have never signed up for a giveaway, but these lamps are so beautiful and unique I'd be crazy not to! I've looked for a pair of lamps for roughly a year and half now. I refuse to purchase just any old thing…(not because I'm demanding, it's because I have three children). I've wanted something different, something eye-catching, because the first thing you see through my foyer is my naked sofa table. How fantastic it would be on Halloween when half of the town comes to my neighborhood, to swing my front door open and have those lamps on full display. I can hear the oohs and ahhs now! I checked out the Alice and Jay website and the rest of the lighting is great. I especially love the milk bucket pendants and the typewriter keys. Imagine the possibilities…simply slendiferous!

  515. I love your blog! I added your blog to my favorites list. I absolutely love these lamps! I really like everything at Alice & Jay. I go to the store every chance I get. I have already purchased a door table, round table, claw foot tub seat, 2 benches, 4 chairs with cushions, dresser, corner cabinet, signs and a bunch of other stuff from Alice & Jay. I hope to eventually have my whole house decorated with Alice & Jay merchandise. My favorite thing at the moment is the bed with the curtains with the baskets on the wall.

  525. This is a great sight! How clever they are. Love the pillows and signs. These lamps were made for me because I love everything French, I use French Blue as the accent color in my house and my ceilings are 21 ft. high and need high lamps. Whoever wins these is one lucky person!

  530. There were so many unusul and interesting one of a kind items that I liked, especially the angel wings. However, the Blue French Iron lamps are my absolute favorites, they made my heart sing. They would fit in so well with my chippy, shabby chic decor.

  543. Alice & Jay make me smile! I too drooled over their fabulous stuff at Lucketts, (as I hobbled around in a mud logged air cast – eww). I snapped several pics, they are so clever!

    I love that mermaid lamp, it makes me want to live at the beach! And those angel wings, wow, they would be so sweet hanging above my daughters bed. 😉 Everything they do is just amazing!

  558. What an incredibly generous give away! I would so love to win these gorgeous lamps. There were so many fun,unique items in their shop it was hard to choose. I love the cake plates….round and square, They are so different and have so many uses. I see them as the base of a glass cloche.
