I had an original art sale yesterday, so I spent the bulk of the day babysitting the sale (answering questions, managing presales, etc.) and packing

I typically post my previews a few days ahead of an original art sale, but May has been so busy that this sale snuck up on me! The next original art sale is tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 1:00 pm Eastern (New York) or noon for presale subscribers. If

I love the fruit topiary! As i was scrolling, I thought…oooh, I hope she sprayed it white and antiqued it!! Great minds think alike!
I love the basket… so simple but now it is a cozy spot to put your quilts! And, I thought I had been following (sometimes at work I must hit follow and not sign in…guess I shouldn't blog at work 😉 Anyhow… I am now and I love, love, love your blog's new look!

Love your paint makeovers, especially the ceramic fruit basket! Paint…a girl's best friend!
I love that blue basket, especially. I do have thing for baskets. I am working on some but need 3 the same…baskets are so expensive. Gonna have to buy one at a time, I guess. BUMMER
Oh I wish I lived close to you… I would be scooping up those quilts… they won't last long especially when you display them in the gorgeous basket… what a gorgeous colour… love the little fruit painted white… and that brass candle holder is to die for… great job on all of it…
Hugs… Deb
You picked such a delightful blue for your basket and the quilts are beautiful.
I love the ceramic fruit topiary! I think the antiquing glaze really added to the look {rather than just keeping it white}.
I Love how everything turned out! Great job as always!
You made great use of your time on a beautiful day!! All the projects look great! I look at everything differently now when I'm out thrifting…items I might have passed by before now get the "how would that look painted" evaluation. Debra (3rd comment) said it best…paint, a girl's best friend!

That mirror looks sooooo much better! I can't wait to see what everyone posts on Friday.
You have done some great projects. I wish I could do some projects but all that I am able to do is make sure that my husband is packed and ready to move on Friday. Then it is two trips in two weeks and then a pack to move 800 miles. So much going on but hopefully soon, I can participate in all these fun things.
Your items turned out great!! I love blue, so that basket is my favorite!!! It looks so pretty filled with those gorgeous quilts.
Love & blessings from NC!
great ideas as usual!
Love the blue basket and especially love the quilts 🙂
All your transformations look great! What a pretty shade of blue for the basket!
I totally 2nd someone saying you sure make good use out of your time! I LOVE the new improved looks of all those things!
You most certainly carry the 'visionary' eye trait. 🙂

Looking forward to your party!

It's suppose to be nice in my area tomorrow — would you like to come by? Really — I love what you did, especially with the blue basket. Very clever!
I love the basket and how beautiful the quilts look all nestled inside. (Gives me a good idea for storing some quilts of my own in our living room for the time when the days are chilly and I just want to snuggle on the couch!) Looking forward to your Furniture Feature Friday!

I have an affinity for old baskets too! That's one of my favorite hunts when I go thrifting/antiquing. I love the blue one! Wish I lived close to your shop! Maybe if I ever make it out to the eastern side of the state, I'll stop in!
That sconce is exquisite, especially in white!
