There are over 60 Furniture Feature Friday entries so far…wow!  This is normally a pretty intimate party of about 40-50, so that is a big number.  The link party is open through Saturday at midnight, so it’s not too late to link up.
Anyway, I wanted to share my latest finds with you.  I can rarely resists a “pop-in” at my local thrift store and this visit did not disappoint.
I found this sweet aqua urn that’s the perfect color for my bedroom.
In addition, I found this 4 tiered metal and glass Étagère that looks great as-is.  It’s pretty rare that I buy something that doesn’t need a major makeover, so this is kind of a treat.  My 3 year old wanted to climb it within 24 hours of having it in the house, so despite the fact that I’ve always wanted one, I think this will end up in the shop.
I’m working on refinishing my dining room table at the moment, so hopefully I’ll have a finished product to share with you, soon.

That urn is beautiful! I can't believe you found it in a ready-to-use state! Love the flowers you added, too.

I love the etegere (and those gorgeous blue rimmed plates) too. Totally jealous. You do find some fab things + the not so fab you always tweak to fabulousness!!!

Oh, I lust after that turquoise urn! It looks great with the bird eggs and the flowers. I love the etagere too, but it would be lost in my clutter. I envision it by itself with something fabulous on it. Have a great weekend!

    11. a little bit of everything

I love the etagere. The dishes look great on it. I really need to start shopping at thrift shops….except there's no where to put anything!

    12. Kolein

Aqua is soothing to me. Wonder if it's an antique?

The etagere and climbing 3 yo could be a bit tricky! The shop is most likely a good decision for its placement!

I found a MMS chair on CL. Seriously, it screamed at me through the computer. I think I bought it because of you. In fact, I'm pretty sure I did.

I think I'm starting to become odd (er).

I posted it on your furniture friday link. This blogging stuff is an absolute blast!!!

    13. Marianne@Songbird

That urn is such a pretty color, what a great find. But the plate etagere stole my heart. How sad that you'll have to sell it because it isn't practical in your house.

    14. Susan L (lily40au)
