royal scout giveaway

Once the milk paint line started taking off, my business became more about no’s than yeses.  I said no to blog tours, giveaways, almost all sponsored posts, antique fairs and special events I was invited to.  I was saying no to pretty much everything and I think that’s what I needed at that time.  I needed to simplify and focus.

I got to the point, though, where I felt a little isolated.  I wasn’t plugged into this amazing online community of entreprenuers, creative souls, kindred spirits and all-around fun people like I once was.

I decided to start saying “yes” more.  Intentional and careful, yeses, but more of them.  And I’ve had a great time being a part of a few blog tours, working with more brands again and introducing my readers to great products (and giving them a chance to win some!)

So, when I recently received an e-mail from a woman, Nicole, who I met at a workshop in California, introducing me to a friend of hers, Victoria, who is a creative entrepreneur, I didn’t say no right away.  Instead, I clicked over to her site and saw the beautiful things Victoria designs and makes and decided to say yes to sharing it with you.

The name of her company is Royal Scout and Co.

…and this is Victoria.

You can read more about her HERE.  She just looks creative, doesn’t she?

Royal Scout and Co. specializes in Luxe faux fur pillows, throws and accessories.  Now, there is faux fur…like muppet faux fur and then there is this, which is totally not like a muppet.

It’s soft, silky and warm.  It looks and feels luxurious.

The boot cuffs are sort of like an upside-down sock and they just fold over the tops of boots, so they can be worn with high or low boots.

I think they’d be a good way to address “boot gap” that happens to people with skinny calfs.  (Not that I have that problem, but my sister-in-law brought that problem to my attention.)

And I think they add a little something special, taking an outfit to the next level.

As I mentioned in the beginning, they also sell beautiful accessories for the home – throws and pillows.  I like that the pillows look seasonal, but not overly specific or cutesy.  I feel like I could have this Royal Scout Antlers pillow out through the fall and winter.

The quality of everything is top notch.

So, now that I’ve made the introduction, let’s get to the giveaway and a special discount code!

Royal Scout and Co would like to give away one Royal Scout Neck Wrap to one reader…

(They sent me one of those and it’s super toasty.  I can’t wait to wear it this winter.)

And a pair of Royal Scout Boot Cuffs to another…

(I love the cuffs with the ballet shoes as ankle warmers!)

To enter, take a look at Royal Scout and Co and come back here to leave a comment, letting me know which product on their site is your favorite.

The giveaway will run through Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at midnight PST.  It is only open to readers within the US and those who are over the age of 18.

And, from now until Sunday, Nov 1, 2015, you can get 20% off your entire order using discount code “royalmissmustard”.

This is not a sponsored post.  I just wanted to support a creative entrepreneur and offer a fun giveaway to my readers.
