I mentioned in my last post that I bought $50.00 worth of vintage German glass glitter. I received it in the mail yesterday and was so excited to try it out. These pictures really do not do this glitter justice…

I typically post my previews a few days ahead of an original art sale, but May has been so busy that this sale snuck up

Before I share my Lucketts recap, I wanted to let you know my next original art sale is Wednesday, May 20, 20206, at 1:00 pm Eastern. For those interested in early access at noon, you can sign up HERE. On Thursday night, we packed our van with oil painting supplies,

I’ve reached that tipping point in my life where I feel like I probably have enough stuff. No doubt, I passed that point years ago, but hunting for antiques and just the right piece for my house is still so much fun! I have noticed I walk out of more

I LOOOOOVVVVEEEE it! It is going to look so nice for the holidays! Maybe I can talk the hudster in to letting me by $50 worth of glitter!
I am so glad that you posted this. I have been contemplating getting a cricut for Christmas…but I really want a metal dectector!!!! I know!
I also have read so much about German glasss. I went to the website – is yours the silver?
Lovin' the pale blue, but the white seems fun too!
I love your WISH. I hope your new blade gets there fast.
Rhonda
Oh, I really like these. I think I may try my own with some supplies laying around.
Pretty!
I love it! I have a cricut also, and I am going to have to make one of these!
Oh that looks GORGEOUS! I've been thinking of getting a cricut, but not sure of what all I would use it for. Thanks for posting.
I really like what you did! How many oz. did you purchase and what color glass?
Cricut….hummmm! I'm not sure that is in the budget, but it's good to know it is out there. Thanks!
Wow… I have no idea what I'd do with such a fab product, so I'll be watching you!
I just bought my first bottle of mod podge after watching you work on your little cabinet, so thanks for the inspiration! Now to have the bravery to actually try it..

Is there anything you can't do 😉 I love that glitter — it's gorgeous!
Lovely! Thank you for the tips!

It looks beautiful!
And there isn't a half-empty food box in my house that I don't eyeball and plan what to make out of it. BUYING craft supplies? Pshaw. Anyone can do that. 😉
It's gorgeous!
You always find the coolest things! I mean, I wouldn't even begin to know where to find something like German glass glitter. You amaze me!
Hugs,
Anne
I'm not sure if I've commented here before but I certainly read every post! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me! This is absolutely darling! Can't wait to see more!
Is that an expensive tool ~ the cricut? I see so many people use one from the blogs I read, and I love how the letters come out {better than trying to use scissors}. This looks great and who knew cereal boxes would work!
There is a huge difference in the glitters. I thought the spray glitter looked great but then I saw the German glass. It looks awesome. It almost give it an aged look.
Happy glittering!!
Stephanie
I adore adore Glass Glitter !! There is something about the look of it that cannot be found in the less expensive glitters ~
I love your project !

Wow!! I love it! I haven't gotten into banners yet (they look cute, I just haven't taken the plunge) This has absolutely given me a kick in the pants to try it… but with that glitter… wow! Beautiful work (as always)!!
Gorgeous!! I lOVE glitter and this glitter is 2 die 4!!!

Oh that is so pretty… I have a bottle of glitter that I found at a garage sale I may just have to put it to some use now… thanks for the inspiration.
This reminds me of something out of "It's a Wonderful Life" or other vintage Christmasy movies! It's beautiful!
(BTW, as a side note, as a child I was deathly afraid of glitter! Isn't that funny!)

Beautiful, and thanks for the link to Meyer Imports. Glass glitter is on my list of things to purchase!

OMG that is luscious. I think I would glitter everything in site also. you are right the nice stuff really does make a difference.
I adore glitter! That little banner is simply fabulous!!
My husband is going to cry when I tell him we can't throw away cereal boxes now. LOL! That is gorgeous. I so understand the need. to. do. it. now. feeling!
Oh my goodness, that is gorgeous! I think the cereal box is a fabulous repurposeful idea! Would you mind if I featured this project in a Trash to Treasure round-up?
Wow, what a great recycled project…it's absolutely beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing such a neat idea 🙂

The glass glitter DOES NOT COMPARE to the spray glitter. OK, I'm a glass glitter convert. For real.
There is no comparison between the two glitters. The real glass looks fabulous and vintage like. Wonderful job.
Oh yes!!! Thanks for sharing this one. Gonna go click your "Follow" button and I cannot wait for you to see mine. Don't forget to click "Follow" & "Subscribe" so we can check in on each other often.
Wow! What a great idea! I am going to have to try this. 🙂
Did you use the deep cut blade on the cereal boxes? Or the regular blade?
I featured this on my blog for tutorial Tuesday! I hope that that is okay and that you will come stop by! : ) I just love this project!
