{give thanks}

As I shared yesterday, my ornament trio is available for sale today on Wuslu, so head over there if you’re interested in purchasing some.

This year has been one of amazing growth in my life.  I am equally thankful for both the blessings and the trials that have been a part of it.  I hope you and your family have a special day, filled with gratitude, joy and love.

And one person has one more thing to be thankful for…

Charlotte (aka “scrapbooky”) has won a Silhouette Cameo.  Woohoo!

  1. Just wanted to drop you a note. Today, I am thankful for so many things. But I am SPECIFICALLY thankful of that day last spring when I entered into a Google search and found the world of blogging through YOUR blog, Miss Mustard Seed. Before that moment, I had no idea that this world existed. My life has been forever changed because of you and I want to say THANK YOU. After reading a tutorial that the Google search engine brought me to, I took a moment to look around your blog. I clicked on a few of the advertisements of other blogs on your page, not really knowing they were call “Buttons” or anything. I started reading a few blogs and started to think that I would love to do such a thing. I contacted you directly through email. I don’t expect you to remember our exchange…but you were gracious, helpful and encouraging. You gave me what I needed to dive right in and I haven’t stopped ever since. Your help has opened a whole new world to me and at my age and place that I stand currently has given me a world of purpose. For that, I am very very grateful. So, Miss Marian….the Mustard Seed lady, I am sending you wishes for the best Thanksgiving ever, and even better Christmas and New Year. You’re the best! You rocked my world. Hugs, Lesley

    1. I have to say the same. The world of blogging – all the wonderful creative ideas and the support given from one to another is great. Thank you, Marian, for the enthusiasm you give to others.

    1. Yes, I am truly grateful and thankful! I was so excited, I ran around screaming, “I won, I won!” My kids thought I had lost my mind and my husband just kept on grinning. He said it was wonderful seeing me get so excited. It’s been an awesome day!

  2. You are a very talented and creative person, thank you for sharing your journey. Your are an inspiration to so many, and I am very happy your dreams are coming true.

I’m Marian, a painter, writer, and lover of all things creative. From art and antiques to home projects and everyday life, I share my journey in hopes of inspiring you to embrace your own creativity and make beauty in the spaces you live.
