Furniture Feature Friday

Well, this will be our last FFF of 2012!  I decided it would be good to take a break over the holidays, since most of us will be hanging with our families instead of painting in the garage.  Some of the furniture addicts might sneak in some brush strokes here and there…  If you do, just hold onto those links and share them in the new year.  We’ll kick 2013 off with a special FFF link party where you can link up your favorite furniture find/makeover of 2012.  I think that will be pretty fun to see the best of the best.

I’m excited about 2013.   I’ve been thinking about my business and what I want to accomplish next year professionally and personally.  I’m not a new years resolution kind of person, but it’s always a good time to reassess things.  I’ll be sharing some of my thoughts & plans in the coming days.

Oh, one last thing.  I totally forgot to announce the winner of the $75 burlapfabric.com giveaways.  It’s Stacey (staceyjill22.)

Now, for tonight’s favorites…

I love this sofa at the WaterHouse Market.  It was upholstered in gray flannel on the front and pinstriped burlap in the back.  I’ve gotta find some of that pinstriped burlap!  Gorgeous piece.

I am in love with this cute little chippy cupboard at Keeping it Cozy.   That latch puts it over the top.

This waterfall dresser at Martha Leone Design really caught my eye.  The choices made on this piece from the color, the stripes, the finish, everything…it’s really a cool piece.

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!

  2. I think it's time to go MEAN on the 'non furniture' people. Nothing like two posts from the same person, NEITHER of which are furniture to make me want to scream.
I love all the creative ACTUAL furniture posts, what a talented group of ppl we bloggers are! 😀

Remember the portrait I found at the Lucketts Spring Market earlier this year?  The one I saw a couple of years ago at the fall market, thought about, wished I had bought it, and then came face to face with it again?  The woman in the blue dress with the

The weather has turned hot again, which is expected since we’re halfway through July and in the thick of summer.  Hot, humid weather means I skip my morning walk, don’t stay on top of the weeds in the garden beds quite as well, and generally stay inside except in the
