Furniture Feature Friday

Hello, Mustard Seed lovers from Atlanta! Kriste here. Marian and I rolled into town yesterday evening for Haven and have enjoyed poking around the city a bit before the conference kicked off.

This week I picked 3 favorites that strayed a bit from my typical design tastes. And I must admit, I am LOVING each one! I really enjoy moving away from what I would naturally gravitate towards sometimes when it comes to interiors. I feel like it really helps to expand my horizons when it comes to thinking about my own home. So without further ado: my picks for this week!

This. This hutch by The Turquoise Iris. I don’t even know where to begin with this piece. Again, the colors aren’t typical for me, but the piece is so striking, I couldn’t help but just be in awe over it. Paired with the wall, glass jar and woven basket, absolutely perfect.

This lovely from Tara Grangroth just took my breath away. I knew exactly what she was going for the moment I saw the dresser. I just love the simplicity and beauty of the floral work, and I really appreciate how she left the natural wood.

How beautiful is this update from This Mamas Dance? I could really ramble on for a while about all the things that I love about this space. The mix of painted and natural wood makes my heart absolutely sing. Be sure to check out the rest of the pictures from the entire room feature. There is loads of inspiration to be had there!

Well, thank you to everyone who linked up this week! I hope you all enjoyed browsing each others’ projects. If you haven’t had the chance, be sure to read through the rest of the great projects that were linked up!

Until next time!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!
