This was another week when the entries for FFF blew me away. It’s like everyone is trying to get a bunch of furniture painted, refinished and spruced up before the holidays! Speaking of, can you believe Thanksgiving is just a week away? Wow…yeah. So, next week we won’t be meeting. We’ll all be too busy hanging out with our families and eating pie. We’ll pick things up the following week though.
For now, here are my favorites (or a few of them) from last week…
Tonya from For the Love of Family & Home made this incredible mantle out of an old headboard. Isn’t that so resourceful? And you would never guess how it started its furniture life.
Christina from Phoenix Restoration painted this beautiful piece of furniture in a rich black and finished it off white high contrast white knobs. I think my favorite part, though, is the styling. The way she paired blues and reds with the black is perfection.
And lastly, this piece by Beau of Drip Designs is a real eye-catcher. I just love the random spots and the combination of colors.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!

Have a wonderful weekend
There are a few really nice decorative pieces here I wanted to check out. I have posted my friends latest transformation a really dowdy old cupboard into a Morrocan/stencilled piece which turned out fabulous. I am still wishing we had your paint in New Zealand.
