Furniture Feature Friday – Better late than never…

Today I was working on some photo shoots and stopped for a few minutes to check my e-mail.  There was one from my mom.  “Did you forget about FFF?  Doesn’t it post on Thursday nights?”
Well, yes I did.  Sorry about that everyone.  I’ve been in a bit of a post-Lucketts mode, which involves getting caught up on everything else and I totally forgot about FFF.  I figured it was better late than never, so link up if you have something to share.  Hopefully I’ll have my act together next week!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!

  1. Hi Marian! So…. I just so happened to pop onto your site after you posted the link up party… I’m on my phone trying to link up and must have accidentally cropped out my photo because it’s showing up blank, haha. Is there any way to fix it?

    Thanks so much!

  2. With all your adventures at Lucketts, I just thought your furniture party would wait for your recovery. 🙂 But, thanks for fitting it in. I have a plant sale every year and it always takes me about a week or two to feel like my head is on straight again. Bravo for your great success there. LOVED how you used the leftovers. 🙂 You have nicer leftovers from Lucketts than I do after my plant sale. 🙂

  3. Hi Marian,

How does a reader fan post a picture of a project? Mine was rejected because I don’t have a web site. I painted an old maple table that had been in my husband’s family to mimic a grain sack and personalized it with our wedding date (9-4-71). Yep, we’re oldies but goodies!

I get so much inspiration from your blog and others. Some day I would like to try your milk paint. Thank you for sharing with your followers.

  4. Thank you SO much for hosting us each week Marian! Still having fun looking at all the wonderful Luckett’s photos. Have a wonderful weekend 🙂

  5. Loved seeing your photos at Donna’s Funky Junk blog. First time participant and visitor here! Thank you for hosting a great party – I am off to visit some other participants and will be sure to come back to read more here too! Happy Weekend.

  6. Thank you for hosting again this week. Glad your mom gave you the heads up 😉 Don’t know how you do it all. I got worried and thought maybe Luckett’s had you under the weather. Glad you’re all good. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend .

  7. Aren’t Mom’s great?!! I loved meeting you (and Barb, and few other bloggers) this past weekend…but I really loved how your Mom and family was right there being supportive and part of the action. 🙂 Thanks for being so geniune, inspiring and sharing your world!….The “Stalker” from Florida

  8. How do I ad a pic if I don’t have a blog yet? I’ve got some really great projects I’d love to share. Thank You!!

  9. Hey Marian – I was waiting and waiting for you to post FFF and then at 5:30 I had to go to dinner at a restaurant (for their grand opening) that I helped to design and decorate, so I had to leave. I was so tired when I got home that I fell asleep and didn’t get to post my first Miss Mustardseed Milk Paint project!

I felt that maybe you were probably too tired to do the furniture feature because of Lucketts etc – but as a true pro, you posted – and I missed it. Will post it next week.
