Furniture Feature Friday – A Link Party

Sorry I’m a little late for FFF tonight.  Not quite as late as last week, but I was scrambling to put the post together at the last minute.  I have been fiddling around with the MMSMP site to get things looking a little bit fancier and lost track of time.  Anyway, here are my favorites from last week…
I love this mustard chest by Estuary.  I like a lot of Meg’s stuff it seems!  She’s just a talented gal.

I am also in love with this French bench by Kim of Savvy Southern Style.  I think I may have featured this bench this first time Kim shared it but I love it even more with a makeover of Typewriter MMS Milk Paint.  I am a little biased, though!

Lastly, I think this outdoor space by Mt-Tails is heavenly.  My yard and deck are so pathetic and I would love a lovely covered space like this one…

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!

  1. I’m so glad that you forgot to open the party till this morning…I would have been way down the line since I was working last night. I haven’t done a furniture piece in so long so I haven’t been able to participate in your party but I can today. Thanks so much…stay warm!

  2. Finally have something to link up…built from a rough milled tree and scrap lumber! Thanks for hosting and I cannot wait to see your butcher block counter reveal!

  3. Thank you Marian, in all your busy life (!) that you are still hosting this great party. It’s the one we stay up late and get up early to get to early! The traffic we get from your party keeps us encouraged to keep blogging. We appreciate you.

We pray you have a blessed, peaceful and relaxed weekend!

  4. Good morning Marian,
I just heard that there’s more snow predicted for the northeast states – I wish I could spread the sunshine we have here in Georgia to you all!
I appreciate you sharing with us your 6-part tutorial on slipcovering chairs – gave me the confidence to do these chairs in my bedroom. Now onto painting the bedroom furniture 🙂
    I appreciate you hosting

  5. We’re headed for snow next week again too. Spring will happen soon, I’m sure!
Today is my first time linking up. Thanks for the opportunity Marian. Happy weekend all!

  6. Ah! I’ve been on such a long break and it feels so great to be back and seeing what everyone has been up too! Thanks for hosting and giving so many of us a place to share and be inspired! Have a great weekend!

  7. There are some awesome projects linked up today! Thanks for hosting this party! I just realized that I captioned my project wrong and tried to delete it but couldn’t. My project is #122 and should say, “Ikea Dresser Hack”. Whoopsies!!

  8. Hi Marion- I want to thank you for insisting that people only show furniture that has been painted, etc. So many ‘parties’ have so many decorations for every “Hallmark” holiday, as I call them. I like a good vignette, recipe. Sorry if I sound like a party pooper but, I’m over decorating every single holiday. Blessings Paula Lusk

  9. Many thanks, as always, for hosting. This is my favorite link party, the one I look forward to weekly–furniture and furniture only.

  10. Hi Marian,

Thank you for your wonderful blog, books, photos, projects, and candor about your life. I have recently begun reading your blog and book and I am enjoying it all, so thank you.

I was wondering if you could share what color paint you use for your walls. Is is a different color for each room or one for all? We live in pittsburgh and I’m trying to figure out what the best white/ivory is for our home that doesn’t always get the most light.

Wishing you all the best things.
    Heidi

  11. Thank goodness! I had to look at my calendar yesterday morning when I checked your blog to make sure it was Friday when I didn’t see Furniture Friday! have a great weekend!

  12. You actually make it seem so easy with your
presentation but I find this matter to be really something which I think I would never
understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

  13. I love this post, Laura! Loaded with beautiful COOKIES, and delicious cuppies the Reminisce COOKIES look elegant but I can’t stop looking at the Butterflies amazing work!!
