Tonight is my 15 year anniversary, so I’m taking the night off! I handed the “picking of the favorites” off to Abbe, our primary educator for Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint. She’s all-around awesome and a lover of furniture as well, so I knew the picks were in good hands. Here she is…
Hi Friends! Abbe’ here, I have the honor of picking out our features from last weeks FFF! Being a do-it-yourselfer, and painter, this was like being a kid in a candy store! I had hard time deciding!
First off, here’s a great post on a re-upholstery job from a self proclaimed novice. I have to be honest- I have not done anything more than a seat recover because it seems so intimidating, but Lost and Found did a fabulous job of taking us step by step on her beautiful French chair makeover. I say- if you can do it, so can I!
I love the fabric and the color of the chair- it just says “Spring!!”
Second, is this amazing hutch from Lielouta…
I adore the finish, just enough white, wood, and distressing. It is classic farmhouse chic! Well done on the styling too! I wish I could snatch that baby up for my dining room!
Well done folks, I had a blast reading through all your posts!
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!

Fabulous features – I’d love to have either of those pieces 🙂
Have a great weekend
Hi Marian, for some reason when I click on the Lost and Found Link it takes me to a different blog? I love the chair and would love to see the tutorial. Thank you for hosting!!
Thanks! I just fixed it!
Have the furniture pictures been restored yet? Still not seeing anything.
Wow!! Seeing my chair makeover on FFF has made my week, maybe my month, maybe my year! Thank you so much for featuring it! It was such a fun project, and I learned everything I know about upholstery from watching you, Marian, reupholster your French Settee last spring. Your post was my tutorial, and I’m so honored that maybe others now will find my walk-through post helpful in their project. Have a fantastic weekend!
It looks so lovely Melanie. you’ve done a wonderful job on the chair!! I love it!
Between you two, you have definitely inspired me to give it a shot. You make it look so easy. (I’m sure it will be a bit more challenging when I get started, ha!) Thanks!
This post will help the internet users for creating new website or
even a blog from start to end.
Oh yes, and Happy 15th Anniversary!
Is anyone else having trouble viewing tonights party?
Yes, I’m not seeing any of the pictures, just the comments.
Yes, I checked last night and no pictures, and still no pictures this morning. I love seeing all the great furniture!
Yeah, Not seeing them either.
I’m not seeing the linky tool either.?
not seeing anything other than comments either!
No link up! Love that chair, I featured it too. What a popular chair it is this week, and for good reason!
Same problem, no link up.

I can’t find the link to the party…it is not showing.
Awesome picks Abbe, such nice pieces. Waiting for the link to appear, want to post our MMSMP Yellow Chippy Bow Front Dresser.
I think you need a new websight design person….no pics …of the the party just the chair and hutch…several bugs your Webdesigner should REALLY work out…
I am sure they are working on it. Easy. 😉
I agree with Maybee’s Mom. I love visiting this party but there are lots of constant technical issues. A popular blog such as this should ensure that all is in good working order all of the time!
Sorry, ladies! We were having trouble with Linky Tools, so we switched to another link party plugin and now that one is disappearing! It was working last night and we’re working on getting it up again.
Marion,
I appreciate you working so hard to give us an avenue to share and search through each others work. I am sure it takes considerable time on your part.
I for one will be patient for this privilege. 🙂
Thanks!
Well, if the gov healthcare site can be down and have issues for some time, and I am quite sure they had the best of the best working on the issues…. Just a thought. 😉
Tara, your words are wise and considerate….something a few others could learn from! To the ones complaining out LOUD, get a grip. Or another cup of coffee, please!!! 🙂 Now, SMILE….I’m sure it will be up and running before you know it.
Hi Marion. A very very happy anniversary to you and your hubby 🙂
Sorry honey ~ there are no pics of the party ~ just the features !!
Naush ~ Dubai
Some grumpy Gus types out there! I will just keep checking back. Realistically, checking everything out on a Saturday morning with a cup of coffee in my hand makes more sense for me anyway!
I just appreciate the fact that you do this every week! I don’t mind being patient for awhile!
I’m with Sue and Suzan. I don’t quite feel the need to hold my breath and pout.
Hey Suzan who’s Gus? I’m with you on the Saturday with a cup of coffee thing! Ohhhhh you mean GRUMPY GUS who hasn’t had any coffee and doesn’t like Saturdays? Got it! You ladies have a great weekend!
I am sure this article has touched all the internet people,
its really really nice piece of writing on building up new website.
Happy anniversary!
Congratulations on your 15th Anniversary Marian and Jeff. Thanks for Furniture Friday.
