Chalk Paint Giveaway!!

If you’ve visited my blog at all in the last few months, you probably know what my favorite furniture paint is.
You know it…you love it…you want it…
One of their newest stockists (in the DFW Metroplex), Karla or Lady Butterbug, is offering up a generous giveaway of two cans of Chalk Paint (in the colors the winner selects), plus a can of clear soft wax and an amazing wax brush.
In the words of Jeff Probst, “Worth playing for?”
To whet your appetite for it, here are some pieces I painted with Chalk Paint
(Old White and Louis Blue)

(Louis Blue and Old White with dark wax)

(Old White)
Here’s how to enter…
Visit Lady Butterbug and leave a comment here letting me know which two colors you would select if you win.
For a second chance to win, visit Karla’s blog, become a follower and leave a second comment here letting me know you’ve done that.
The giveaway will end Sunday, June 19 at midnight PST.  A winner will be chosen and announced on Monday. Good luck to all!

  125. OK. I have now devoted an hour or more to reading, absorbing, and borrowing ideas from this site and Karla's blog. I think the concept of painting right over the finish of a piece is what has sold me that I need to jump on the chalk paint bandwagon – even if I didn't love the colors province blue and old white with the dark wax for the mirror I want to transform in my bathroom work-in-progress. Thanks for the great ideas even if I don't win the paint. I'm going to give these ideas my own sort of spin!

  126. I am really intrigued by this chalk paint! I have seen it on several projects and it sounds awesome and looks great. I would choose Old White for me and Aubussin Blue for my son's furniture.

I'd like to subscribe to have your post sent to me by email like I do Between Naps On The Porch, etc. Did I miss that button on your page? I clicked on the one to subscribe to the comments posted but don't really need to have that many emails – I'd rather just go to your post and read the comments there. 🙂

    Louis Blue and Old White

    Thanks a million!

  144. Pick me, please! I am totally bonkers about this paint and can't say enough about it except that I need more!!!! I am almost out of Old White and would like to try some Paris Grey next. This weekend I'm painting another two picture frames, two floor lamps, some ottoman legs, a tray, a shadowbox, a decorative rooster and anything else I have time for. It's just brilliant!!!

  145. I would select Provence and Versailles. Oh wait, can I pick three? Cuz Old White would be a crucial staple too. 🙂

  146. I"m following Karla

btw…last weekend I met the first 'stockist' of chalk paint in Georgia!! She was so sweet and we talked about you because that was the only reason I knew what chalk paint was 🙂 Her shop is only 45 minutes from my house!!

  152. This is my dream come true!

I am a fairly new blogger who lives in Canada and has been attempting to source Chalk Paint for months!! There aren't any places in Canada that sell it yet. I just blogged about the Chalk paint last week, and have some pieces that are just waiting to be finished with it!!

My favorites are Paris Gray and Old White.

  155. I had been researching (starting with your blog-which I have been a follower of) chalk paint just yesterday! I will be taking a stay at home vacation and thought it would be a perfect time to embark on a project. While I drove home yesterday I was thinking of what colors I would start with… they are all so fun!
I went to Ladybug as instructed and narrowed it down to two: Provence and old White. Thanks for a chance in the giveaway!

  156. I would paint my dad's student desk from the 1950's in Old Ochre and Old White with a dark walnut stain on the desktop. I am following Karla's blog now too. Thanks! First time I've ever commented on your site, but I love it!

  448. My top 2 choices would be "Duck Egg Blue" and "Paris Grey". You are right about the chalk paint! I took your advice and used it to paint furniture for my outdoor vintage wedding 3 weeks ago. It looked amazing!!!

  451. I found an old music cabinet at a yard sale (with curved legs of course) and I think if I could attempt any color combo it would be the tried and true Old White and Lois Blue. Thanks!

  452. Hi,
I would truly enjoy Old White and Duck Egg Blue. I have an old and beaten dresser that I have wanted to work on for months (which is how I found and started following your blog – which I LOVE by the way … you are such an inspiration) Ooh, if only I could win … there would be no more excuses to get started 🙂
    Thanks,

  454. This paint is everywhere, but none have used it better than I see here. I think I'd choose Old White and Country Gray (but I'm really digging that Paris Gray too…how's a girl to choose)?!!! Thanks for the scoop!

  455. This is a tough decision to pick which is my favorite. But going with my present decor, I would pick the Primer Red with Chateau Grey…beautiful combination!

  458. Hey!

I went over to Lady Butterbug…so pretty!

If my entry is picked, I would like Old Ochre or Country Grey, which are the two colors you recommended I try for my kitchen cabinets back in April. It's been a busy couple of months here and I haven't gotten back to the kitchen…but I hopeful for this summer!

  459. Hi! Im dying to try Provence! And I love Old White too. You're inspiring me to try things I never thought possible! Thanks!

  460. Definitely Old White and Provence…or Duck Egg Blue…or Louis Blue…or Country Gray or Paris Grey. Definitely Old White and one of those:o)

  475. Hi,
I posted on Karla's site and hit "Like" on FB.
LOVE LOVE LOVE all your chalk paint photos. I have been so inspired by your work (my friends and I visit Lucketts 🙂 ) I have even shown my husband your photos and he has painted all our bedroom furniture to go with my bedroom make-over. The pieces were old dark mahogany-now white laquer. Now I want to do a few pieces with chalk paint-I will take this on. I like Poloma and Paris Grey. Cheers! Janet

  476. I just became a follower on your twitter account and want to win! I love all your stuff, and am anxious to try chalk paint and wax paste.
