I stayed up until midnight last night, finishing up a couple of pieces to take to Lucketts on Thursday. I had a babysitter this afternoon, so I went shopping and went to an auction. I have two completed makeovers and a bunch of cool things to share, but I got home too late to snap pictures of any of them. What’s a blog post without eye candy?
So, this post is all about pictures. These are some random photos I took during a shoot for the June issue of Cottages & Bungalows magazine that will be hitting newsstands soon.

Great eye candy 🙂 Nothing says spring like fresh fruit, especially strawberries and green apples. Yum. Now all I can think about it fresh apple pie. We're already picking strawberries here in the south. Can't wait to see you finished projects.

I've gathered up projects from mirror frames to dresser that my great grandfather made out of milled pecan from the homestead. I'm sooooo glad to have found your blog. Since you mentioned going to an auction…I'm curious. How do you find the auctions that you attend and how do you know that the prices will be "right"? Since I live in an expensive area (DC) Craigslist, thrift stores etc can still be pricey for furniture that I am going to have to put time & effort into refinishing. I would love to hear if auctions are a good option to find inexpensive pieces.
