Bliss Farm Antiques Giveaway

Today was packed.  I drove out to Lancaster with Mini to meet a “picker” (Dana) and buy some things from her.  There was a farmer’s market and flea market where we met (she picked a great spot), so I purchased some Christmas greenery at great prices and some ironstone.  We then rushed over the Hobby Lobby, Lowe’s and Target to get some things I need to finish my HGTV.com Halloween and Thanksgiving projects for next year.  I picked up the boys from school, unloaded the van and then got to work putting things away.  I sort of churned all evening…you know?  When you do a lot, but don’t feel like you have much to show for it?  My house is still a mess and I have an enormous to-do list.  I’ve got to sit down with my calendar and get myself sorted out!

Anyway, it worked out really well that one of my sponsors, Jackie from Bliss Farm Antiques, wanted to run a giveaway to celebrate her holiday open house.

Bliss Farm Antiques is a lovely shop that is open seasonally in Rehobeth, Massachusetts.  For those who don’t live close enough to shop locally, there is also an online shop that is filled with beautiful antiques.  These are some of my favorites in the shop right now…

Here is what Jackie is offering up for the giveaway…

1) A burlap wine bag with a spice packet and recipe for Vin Chaud (a hot spiced wine served in France during the holidays- Jackie bought it while walking the streets of Paris.) The champagne cork keeps the spice bag afloat in the wine (so it’s easy to fish out afterwards.)

2) A lovely ornament with German glass glitter

3) A holiday tea towel with “Merry Christmas” and a highly stylized bird silk-screened on the front.

Here’s how to enter…

1) Leave a comment for one chance to win

2) Visit the Bliss Farm Antiques Blog and become a follower.  Come back to this post and leave a comment letting me know you have done that.

3) For one last chance to win, visit the Bliss Farm Antiques online shop and look around.  Come back to this post and let me know what caught your eye.

The giveaway ends Saturday, December 4th, 2011 at 5:00 PM EST and Jackie will select a winner herself.  I’ll announce the winner on Sunday, December 5th.  The giveaway is only open to residents in the lower 48 states and readers over the age of 18.

If you live near Rehobeth, MA, try to make it to the Bliss Farm Antiques holiday open house for a chance to win another giveaway in person!  Good luck!

  6. The french music cards are very unique and would be lovely in our home. Probably the french basket as well if I could get a better look at it.

  7. I visited the on-line shop and decided the button bracelet would just be beautiful on my wrist.
However, it would REALLY be beautiful if I won that give away on my Birthday.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter,

I have been reading your blog for quite awhile and have enjoyed it immensely. Unforturnately, I do not
enjoy this new format. I don’t find it as easy to read as before.

  9. OOh I visited the site and there are so many fun things. My favorites.. its a toss up between the Regency Crystal lamps and the weighted French chandelier…

  15. Followed the blog and visited the shop! Can’t wait to visit next weekend for their open house. Really love the Haws English Watering Can, the Tuffet, and the Twine Spool.

  16. Well, I’ve always needed a tuffet for my muffet – but I really like the weighted French hanging lamp best.

  17. I live here in Massachusetts, thanks for showing off a real local gem! Usually you have your nearby Antique Malls that I envy, but Bliss Farm I could potentially visit myself. Thanks so much!

  18. Went through the shop and I have to say my ABSOLUTE favorite is the “Vintage weighted French Hanging Lamp” I have a tiny collection of Fenton Glass and the lamp shade looks just like a pie-plate I’ve been dreaming off at a local shop. At almost $200 it’s SOOO out of my budget, but it’s beautiful to look at and I love the fact that you can easily raise and lower it. Maybe a DIY in there somewhere? Amazing inspiration.

  19. I never win anything. I enter and enter and enter and never do win. So, this is my humble prayer to the Gods of Giveaway: Pick me, please.

  20. What a beautiful store that is! I like a lot of things but the picture frames really caught my eye, especially the gold oval one with the carved flowers. So beautiful!

  33. The “tuffet for your muffet” is so cute! And the vintage weighted French hanging lamp is awesome too! Great shop!

  34. I saw many items that I would be pleased to have in my home, but I especially like the paper sculpture. I do a lot of things with paper and I think it would be great to have that book. I would put it in the middle of our dining room table for all to see.
