This post is mostly about the pictures, because I’m too tired to form the words. All I can say is that Lucketts this year was exhausting and really great all at once. I’ll tell you all about it soon. Until then, here are some pictures of my booth when it was all staged and ready for the gates to open Friday morning…
I was so happy with how everything came together and we sold a TON of stuff! We do still have a decent amount left, so we will be selling the remaining pieces locally and online. We need a little chance to catch our breath, but then we’ll start getting that stuff posted.
Thanks so much to everyone who came to shop and to those who made this event happen, including my amazing crew.

I wish all of us admirers/antique lovers/and MMS lovers from all over could’ve came with our wishlists of all your beautiful pieces to clean your booth out so you had nothing left! But then again, if we all were able to come, you probably would’ve needed security at your booth because of everyone wanting everything!! Every day I look forward to your posts and pictures. I have become MMS obsessed 🙂
God Bless you
Keep moving them mountains
~Leah
Couldn’t have said it better myself, Leah!
I agree!! I couldn’t have said it better Myself,Leah & Hannah

You do such an incredibly amazing job with your booths!! You make it look easy . . . but, wow, how it’s really SO not. Wish I could have been there! Congratulations 🙂
What a beautiful reason to be exhausted. 🙂
Hi Marion….I so enjoyed shopping in your booth on Friday…everything was so beautiful and I love everything I bought! I have a quick question…I went back to buy a Lavender Topiary…and they were gone! Would you mind sharing where I might buy one? I so appreciate it!
I saw some at Walmart a week or two ago for $15! They’re just too cute!
Nichole,
I hope this isn’t too personal of a question…What area of the Country are You in? I’m in the southeastern suburbs of Metro Detroit.
I seen Your comment that They were @ Walmart & when I tell You that I literally closed My laptop as fast as I could,Grabbed My keys & drove like a Maniac to the 3 Walmarts in My area,Money in hand, Ready to buy one (Or ten!!) That isn’t an understatement..I think I may have even blew a few red lights in the process of being so excited! Sadly, My Walmart not only did not have any, The Clerks looked @ Me like I was crazy because They had no idea what I was talking about 🙁
I just didn’t know if that’s maybe a regional plant or something..But I know I WANT ONE!!!! (In the “Ironstone Slop Bucket” (or something simalar) because that juxtaposition is simply PERFECT!!!
Yep, I did get them from my local walmart. They were so pretty and I swooped them up! I did see that they got in another shipment, though. It’s also known as French Lavender. I hope that helps, too.
Hi Nicole and Melissa…thanks Nicole for the Walmart tip. I too looked at Walmart and they did not carry…however, after a bit of research, I found that the name is Lavandula Stoechas Anouk….and I did call around nurseries and some were sold out, some were getting it in. My nursery calls it Blueberry ruffles for the darker blue color and sugarberry ruffles for the pink and purple color. Look this up online and I bet you will see exactly what you want. I hope this helps.
I just wanted to let you know that the young man you had working for you (sorry I ‘ve forgotten his name) was a delight. he carried an item I purchased to my car. while we were walking, he chatted and told me a little about himself. he was very kind, courteous and helpful. Thought you should know what a great helper you had! Hope to be back next year!
Yep, we had an awesome team. That was Jonathan who helped you. 🙂
wishing I could’ve been there…everything looks beautiful as always! but I must say, I can’t imagine the work load to put this all together! I painted one piece of furniture, and I thought it was time consuming!
Marion,
Congratulations on a job well done! I wasn’t able to get to the sale but I am interested in the shoe rack if you still have it. Now go and enjoy a few days of well-earned rest!!!
As usual, you out did yourself. The booth was beautiful! My only regret was that I didn’t buy more Ironstone. I was too tired to come back on Sunday. Think the heat did me in and was done shopping by 1 p.m. No lie!
I really enjoyed looking through your pictures of the booth, it’s styled perfectly!
You did a fantastic job!
It’s not nice to make us drool on our keyboards! Glad it was a success! The pictures are beautiful.
Your Dad forgot to get in the picture!! You done good, Ms. Marian! 😉
Your spot looked great on Friday! Felt like I was at the Paris flea market not that I’ve ever been there before LOL. Was going to say hi but you had a line of admirers so we just shopped before we drove back to Louisville. Kudos to Lucketts for a great Friday sale we love our bags and the bottled water. Kudos to mother nature for a great day of weather on Friday!
Marian,
Congrats on such a busy & profitable sale for The Miss Mustard Seed brand!! It shows that all Your hard work, As well as the hard work & dedication to You & Your brand, that You get from Employees, Friends & Family is well worth it!!
I do hope that this year, The items that will be up for purchase to those of Us who weren’t able to make it to The East coast, will be available for shipping..I REALLY wanted Your chairs a while back, That You sold when You swapped out chairs, But they were local pick-up only..
Also, Could You please do a video tutorial on what to look for when trolling for furniture pieces on Craigslist or at flea markets,etc..Actually, What are the red flags to stay away from..How to price Ironstone pieces, etc? I’m kind of at a loss because just because I find AMAZING DEALS, I still would like to turn a profit yet still make items affordable, too…
I don’t know how you and your team do it Marian. You will need a week in the Bahamas! Everything looked sensational…..
Wow! I would like to know just how you do it!! Your booth looks incredible and as always, I’m in love with every single piece of furniture you share!! Mad respect for all your hard work and continuing to share it with us too!!
Bravo, bravo to all of you! It sounds like Lucketts 20151 was a great success! I’m assuming that the photo of all of you was taken at the end of the weekend and I am A-MAZED that you are all still standing! You had such a fabulous variety of things for sale and all displayed so beautifully. The amount of ironstone just made me drool! Maybe next year I’ll be there in person, but it was very fun to participate via your pictures this year. It would be hard, Marian, but I wouldn’t blame you and Kriste if you took a week off from blogging! Just so you don’t come down with the flu or something from exhaustion! But I know you won’t, so I will look forward to your next post! Do take care.
I love the vanity and dresser in boxwood. Did they sell? And, do you ever make it down to the southeast US? I live in Tallahassee, FL and would love to buy some of your furniture pieces.
Marian, I still have such marvelous memories of meeting you and your Mom several years ago at Lucketts. My daughter lives in Fredricksburg and I made a trip back to see her and the grandkids making it coordinate with Lucketts ~ I stalked you all day ~ my daughter still reminds me of it ~ awesome memory, looking at these pictures the excitement comes rushing back. Your business sure has grown since then ~ Bravo!
Did the iron hunting go sell? He was tuning on one of tour green pieces in the photo..
Gorgeous market pictures! How do you get your old front doors to stay upright with enough strength against the elements to hold a picture? I see the big grey door with the cow painting and just love it.
Your booth looked amazing. Great staging. I’m looking forward to what you will make available on line. Your ironstone is incredible. Thank you for sharing!
