Welcome to my second Furniture Feature Friday link party! This is the place to share your amazing furniture makeovers, favorite furniture finds, great furniture arrangements, or pieces that you have on your wish list. I am a furniture lover and I am ready to be inspired and wowed. I hope this becomes a weekly engagement that you won’t miss!
I am also excited to introduce you to my very first Furniture Feature Friday sponsor – Grace of Ruby Moon Designs. If you like elegant and timeless accessories (for yourself and your home), you must check out Grace’s blog and Etsy Store. Not only do I love her creations, but I love the focus of her blog and business – “Drawing attention to the virtues of the Proverbs 31 Woman – Strength, Honor, Character, Industriousness, Wisdom & Love.” Isn’t that inspiring?
When she sent me the photo of the bracelet she made for the giveaway, I gasped, then smiled. Big.

Onto the furniture feature for this week. Lately, Lisa from Recaptured Charm’s furniture makeovers have been cathing my eye and this most recent one is no exception. This table had a great shape, but a neglected finish. People just shouldn’t be able to do this to a good piece of furniture! (I’ll have to remind my 2 toddler boys of that.)
So, after a good cleaning, some TLC, and some paint, Lisa gave that sad table a beautiful new life.
I really like the soft gray color she chose. Very French/Swedish looking and neutral without being plain old white. She also added the perfect amount of distressing to make this piece interesting.
And she stenciled the fleur de lis to the top for additional detail. This is a great example that you don’t have to be able to paint something freehand to add decorative painting to your furniture. This piece looks awesome, Lisa! Well done!

So, on to the link party! Here are the rules –
1.) Your post has to be about furniture.
2.) Post your permalink, not the link to your blog/website.

How pretty, I hadn't noticed the Fleur de lis until I read it in the post. Like finding a nice little treat. 🙂
