The first thing I notice when I receive a package from Sutton Place Designs is how much of a perfectionist Ann is.  Each item is carefully wrapped in layers of tissue…

 

 

…and when I start pulling things out of the tissue, her perfectionism shows in the quality of the work and the luxurious fabrics she chooses to work with.  Her most recent fabric of choice is one of my favorites…antique grain sack.  She’s making lavender sachets (oh my that box smelled amazing!)…

 

 

…and these amazing grain sack tote bags (I almost gasped when I unwrapped this)…

 

 

…and grain sack iPad covers!  How clever is she?  (I can’t wait to have an iPad to put inside of it…)

 

 

…and the lining is a beautiful coordinating blue and white fabric.

 

 

I bet the farmer who used that grain sack never imagined it would eventually hold an electronic gadget with a touch screen!
