Home Style Saturdays

I don’t usually post on Saturdays, but I am making an exception to join Home Style Saturdays!  It’s a collection of bloggers who simply share one of their favorite projects or posts.  So, here are a few links for you to enjoy if you’re looking for some weekend reading…

  1. Love your laundry room Marian ! Mines piled high with laundry needing to be done. It would make you crazy I feel sure, lol!! I’ve never understood this home style Saturday’s, being I follow most of the ladies on there. The posts are always just Repeats of their Friday posts.?? I mean why repost the same thing. I’m always excited thinking it’s some new posts, but it’s always repeats. Oh well. I hope you’ve been getting in a little time to paint because I’m anxious to see what you’ve been working on. When you put them up for auction, where do we go online to buy them? I really want one of your little French girl portraits. I sure hope you got good news on your MRI! Does it keep you from being able to paint? I hope all goes well! Enjoy your weekend and Go Patriots! That’s our team. LoL!

    1. Oh, well, I picked a post from a while ago that people may have missed! I think the idea is to share posts from other bloggers that might be new to their readers. Anyway, it’s just a one-time thing for me, so thanks for stopping by to check it out.

  2. Marian, thank you for this posting. You are one of three blogs I read every/almost every day (according to when a new post is up). However, I sometimes like to see what other bloggers are up to. I’m not a regular reader of these blogs that you’ve linked to; I only look at them when you link up. So, this was an enjoyable read, and the articles were all new to me. Thanks!

I’m Marian, a painter, writer, and lover of all things creative. From art and antiques to home projects and everyday life, I share my journey in hopes of inspiring you to embrace your own creativity and make beauty in the spaces you live.

If you missed the first installment about my trip to Russia, you can find it HERE. Our first flight was from Orlando, Florida, to Miami.  It was a short flight and a small plane that had me blaring music in my headphones, closing my eyes, and gripping the armrests, pretending

Remember the portrait I found at the Lucketts Spring Market earlier this year?  The one I saw a couple of years ago at the fall market, thought about, wished I had bought it, and then came face to face with it again?  The woman in the blue dress with the
