Furniture Feature Friday

Good evening, all!  Unfortunately, I’m feeling a bit under the weather tonight.  I’m not sure if it’s just a headache or if I’m finally succumbing to the illness that my boys had last weekend.  Either way, I’m hitting the sack early tonight and didn’t have a chance to pick favorites from last week.  I look forward to browsing through all of the amazing links posted here this week, though.  Kriste and I have a ton of furniture in the studio to work on and I always love all of the inspiration offered here!  Enjoy the party!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!

  1. Happy Friday Mrs.Parsons!
Thank you so much for the feature this week! Thank you for sharing your talents with us all, I could not have made this slipcover without you! I’m not even kidding! Your tutorial was so easy to follow and was full of tips I never would have considered. I made this slipcover without any mistakes or having to redo any of it because of that.

Thank you again, you really do inspire people :0)

    1. Your chair is stunning!!! I have a big old drop cloth sitting on a wingback ready for Marion’s tutorial! I did use her piping instructions when I reupholstered the chair I linked up today. She was so thorough and precise. She really made it so easy. I especially loved hearing the children and her mom in the background! REAL LIFE! love it!! Thank you for linking up your slip and doing such a lovely job! Can’t wait to start mine!! xox, Emily @ 11gables.blogspot.com

  2. Thanks so very much Marian for featuring my antique blanket chest that was filled with treasured momentos of the owner’s family….and the shock to see that a possible relative of mine was mentioned in one of the letters….destiny!….Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. Thank you for this! It is always so inspiring. We are in a deep freeze here in Asheville NC and it’s nice to look at all the pretties !

One of the little tidbits I jotted down in my phone and then in my commonplace notebook (a place where I collect quotes, lyrics, words, poems, thoughts, and such) recently was this: “A clean barn has no oxen.”  I am going to confess that, as a pastor’s wife, I didn’t
