I’ve been hosting this party for over two years and have sometimes thought I should stop. There are so many link parties out there now. When I started this, mine was the only furniture party and now there are several. Anytime I’m seriously thinking about it, though, something happens that changes my mind. Last week at the book signing at Lucketts a sweet woman mentioned how much she loves this party and looks forward to it each week. It’s hard to argue with that. 🙂 Here are my favorites from last week…
I love everything about this dresser…the color, the finish, the birds, the knobs. I think Rachel from Shades of Blue Interiors did an amazing job.
I think this old built in cabinet in the home of Jennifer from Town & Country Living. The bead board and the latches are fantastic!
I’m not always going to feature milk paint pieces, but I absolutely loved this show-stopper by Scout & Nimble. The white details, color and chippiness are perfect for this piece.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.
Enjoy the party!
Lounging around in my jammie's is one of my favorite things to do. Sometimes we just need to take a break and unwind. Thank you so much for hosting. Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Congrats ladies who were featured! I love that secretary desk ~ gorgeous! Lounging in Pajama's is the best 🙂
The secretary's desk really did come out amazing. When I grow up I want to lounge in my jammies. You deserved it my dear. Rest up.
Paula
You need a useless day every now and then. It's refreshing. Nice features. As always, thanks for hosting this fab party.
Great features, Marian! Thanks for hosting…it's my favorite eye candy party of the week!
Good for you on the jammie day:) I also am very fond of the old shoe cart. Thanks for hosting! I've followed your blog for some time, but I think this the first time I have linked up a project. Hope you'll visit The Corson Cottage sometime:) Carrie
So glad you had a day to just relax! We all need that to rejuvenate ourselves. Lovely features this week! Thank you so much for hosting the party, always excited when I have something to link up.

Jammies until noon? Check. Lounging and tv watching? Sounds like my normal day 😉 Motivation comes much later…especially after looking at the fab features from last week! Gorgeous!
Thanks for hosting!
Thanks for hosting again, Marian! Great features. I love that shoe rack too. Wonder if I can make that myself. Just may have to try. The secretary is pretty too. I have one I need to finish. Can't wait to reveal.
I love vintage! Beautiful white dishes!
Thanks for sharing!
Have a good day!
Glad you had a great day! Thanks for hosting!
I am always amazed at the quantity (and quality) of pieces you put out. I would think that a day of Rest & Relaxation should be well-deserved!! Off to view some of the new party links. Hope you have a great day!
XoXo,
Kristal
Since it's very hard to get the ASCP for less than the price of a trip to Hawaii here in Toronto, Canada, I'm dying to know what you think of the 'recipes' for the chalk paint that are appearing on blogs, including your link party submissions? (sorry that was a long winded sentence!) I've got a lovely old bed that I'm thinking of trying it on, but scared until I hear your opinion….
(and no, I don't mean chalkBOARD paint)
THANK YOU so much for featuring my vintage style shoe rack. What a surprise!
I am totally addicted to your blog, you are a huge inspiration – Have a great weekend, Lori
Hi MMS!
I finally had a chance to link up my vintage desk that I painted in chalk paint! I used Henrietta and I must say that I ILOVE that color!!! I hope you have a chance to look at it:)
Thanks for the link party!
this is the first time I joined, so sorry I posted twice, I am computer challenged! Love all the things you have shown though!
Thanks so much for featuring my little aqua cabinet. Seeing the feature totally made my night. And by the way, I think you would LOVE the yard crawl. It is held one Saturday every August in Virginia. It is a 43 mile long yard sale along Rt. 11 in the Shennandoah valley. Lots of antiques and country vintage stuff for awesome prices.
I am so flattered that you featured my secretary!!! Not to sound like a crazy blog stalker, but I've come back at least a dozen times just to see it on your page and each time I can't help but smile. 🙂 I LOVE your blog and you've been a huge source of help and inspiration. Thank you for sharing your talents!
I love your blog and LOVE Allora handmade. I have short, fine, slick hair and only something small will work with it.
BTW, I am thinking of painting my BR Suite teal and the nightstands that pretty shade of rose/pink? My sister says I'm crazy. What do you think?
Hello,
Wow..great article i must say. it was fun visiting your this blog. i did get lots of good information from here and i must say that this is one of the nicest blogs i have visited in recent times on furniture. thanks for sharing such a nice article here. i would like to see some information related to furniture removal company here in this article in future.

Its like you learn my mind! You seem to know a lot approximately this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something. I believe that you just can do with some % to pressure the message house a little bit, but other than that, this is great blog. An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.
