FURNITURE FEATURE FRIDAY – Favorite & Link Party

Good evening my fellow furniture-loving friends.  I’m in Raleigh, NC for the weekend to see my boys get all dressed up in tuxes to carry rings down the aisle for my cousin’s wedding.  I can’t wait to see them all decked out in their shiny shoes and box ties.   It’s also a nice chance for me to get away from my house and workshop and all of the things that need to be done for the upcoming Chapel Market.  I’m looking forward to all of that…I have a few pieces waiting to be refinished and painted and boxes of stuff waiting to be priced.  That will all wait, though, and I’ll try to take this time to catch up on some sleep and enjoy time with family.
Anyway, here are my favorites from last week…
If you know me at all, you may have guessed that this dresser by Dreaming in Color would catch my eye.  The colors are so pretty and I love how Deneen accented the details on the piece with white.  So lovely.

The color on this dresser by Reeves of The Weathered Door is stunning!  It makes it even better that the lines of the piece are so pretty.  And the wheels!  Be still my heart.

Lastly, I am in love with these pouffes by Jill of Sew a Fine Seam.  I haven’t really jumped on the pouffe band wagon, but these are so deliciously vintage that I’m ready to hop on.

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!

  1. Marian,
Your paint line was quite a hit at the Marburger Farm show in Round Top, TX this past week. I saw many pieces that had been done in your milk paint line and even overheard one vendor raving to a customer about MMS milk paints! Each booth looked like something from a magazine. Have a great time at the wedding!

  2. Make a pouf out of your grain sack material! Mix it up a bit with pattern/direction/color–I bet it would be fabulous! Would love to see one and your boys would love to pounce on it!

  3. I sure hope you’re able to fit in a visit to the flea market at the state Fairgrounds in Raleigh! Enjoy your trip to NC. I just moved away from Raleigh to Salt Lake City. I really like it here, but I do miss my flea market!!

  4. Awesome list of furniture:))) I can’t but imagine how much time you spend every day on choosing the right one. I’m becoming fan of the white number 17 and Deneen. I am about to google and find some more of that kind. Do you look furniture reviews on YouTube? Have you seen any yet?
