Furniture Feature Friday – A Feature & A Link Party

Well, I’ve wrapped up the projects for my book and now it’s down to the styling and beauty shots.  I was planning to go shopping for last minute props tomorrow, but I think I might have to do that on Saturday.  It’s just been nuts the past few days.  I could hardly get out of bed this morning and had to nurse a sore back with a heating pad until it losened up.  (Gosh, I’m only 33…yikes.) To add to the craziness, we have one kid with an upper respitory infection and another one with a stomache bug.  On the up-side, I’m really excited how everything’s coming together for the book.  I made some changes in my family room, my work office and living room and I just love them.  I can’t wait until I can just sit back and enjoy it all for a couple of days.

I took some more pictures of sneak peeks that I’ll share tomorrow.  (Including a dresser done in that washed “Wisteria” style.)

My furniture feature tonight is going to be a little different.  I just got an e-mail from one of my blog friends, Sarah, AKA The Thriftress.  She shared that she and Cassie of Primitive & Proper have joined forces to create Persephone and they now sell out of Wild Rose in Walkersville, MD.  If you’ve been reading my blog for a couple of years, you know I used to sell out of Wild Rose.

…and I met Cassie when we were both vendors at my first Lucketts Antique Market…

…and I met Sarah at my glitter letter workshop and the Junque Swap.

They’re just wonderful ladies and I’m so happy they’re all working together.  I love seeing stay-at-home-moms-turned-business-owners doing well.  Cassie and Sarah both do awesome furniture makeovers, so you should check them out on The Thriftress and Primitive & Proper.

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!
