I’ve had a few flash sales on Instagram to clear out some paintings, but I haven’t had a proper original art sale since we moved! But, as I shared yesterday, I’ve been painting most days with the intention of having a lot of original paintings to offer in a sale and that sale is happening this week.
Since my furniture days, I have been a fan of showing what will be in an upcoming sale along with prices, so potential buyers can have some time to think about it and make sure they have the perfect place for what catches their eye. It also helps to know if there is a piece you want to make a beeline for!
Before I show you the works, here are a few tips on shopping the sale.
- The sale will go live HERE. Paintings will not be visible until noon est on Friday, February 10, 2023. The paintings are first come first serve.
- There is only one of each and they typically sell quickly.
- For faster secure checkout, set up an account and sign in HERE before the sale starts.
- The paintings are not reserved in your cart. They are only yours once you pay, so I suggest checking out quickly with the painting you want most and then circling back for other paintings. Shipping is free inside the US, so you will not incur extra charges for checking out separately. I will combine all of your orders and they’ll ship together.
- I use to be able to add international shipping, but I’m working on that! I’ll let you know if we can get that set up in time for the sale.
- If you do miss out on a painting, you can send me an e-mail and I will give you early access before my next sale goes live.
All of the paintings in this sale are original oil paintings and most of them are “on board.” This means they are painted on a wooden board that has been primed and prepared to accept oil paint. The 6 x 6 paintings are on canvas board (canvas mounted on a wooden board) and the 3 3/4 x 8″ are on primed MDF board. All paintings are finished with Gamvar Gloss for protection and to bring out the colors.
All of the still life paintings are on 8 x 10 board and are priced from $200 – 225.
This autumn oak leaf still life didn’t sell in my Instagram flash sale, so it is on sale for $100…
Two landscapes are on 8 x 10 board, priced at $225…
One 6 x 6 landscape on canvas board for $80…
Small landscapes on 3 3/4″ x 8″ MDF board, priced at $80/each…
The next four paintings are based on Rembrandt (first two) and Degas sketches. I thought it would be fun to interpret them as oil paintings. These are on 3 3/4″ x 8″ MDF board, priced at $80/each. (The first Rembrandt sketch study is already sold.)
Four abstract landscapes/color studies on 6 x 6 canvas board, $80/each…
Three blue and green abstract paintings on 6 x 6 canvas board for $80/each…
And one Bouguereau portrait study on an 11 x 14″ board, priced at $400…
Let me know if you have any questions! I will be adding some of these works as prints in my Society6 store as well. I’ll let you know when those are added.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been so supportive of my art. What started out as a little hobby has become a passion and it’s an area of my business that I hope to continue to grow.
You are gifted! So many gorgeous paintings.
Looking forward to the sale! Thank you for making it at a reasonable time in order to give all time zones an opportunity to make a purchase. It’s much easier than an 8 am sale which is 6 AM or 5 AM for some of us! BEAUTIFUL WORK with so much charm!
So many gorgeous paintings. What a wonderful gift God has given you. Sure beats scrubbing wall paper glue off the walls any day, huh?😂 Looking forward to Friday and hoping I’ll be able to purchase one. Thank you for sharing your talents. 😁
***what payment method would I need to use Friday?
You will need to pay with a credit card through the secure checkout. It’s processed by PayPal,so the purchase is protected as well.
Many styles, my very favorite painting has little white flowers.
They are all lovely, but swooning over the pot of flowers. Please put that one in your Society 6 store.
I hope you will add the Bouguereau portrait study as an art print. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the original version. It is absolutely beautiful and if I weren’t now on a fixed income, I would be in the cue to purchase it tomorrow.
Dang, Marion! You are a wonderful artist!!!
