Thank you for the amazing response on my $30 Craig’s List Dresser makeover. I think I had 40 comments by lunch time the day it was posted. One of my dear blog friends, BJ of Sweet Nothings sent me this side-by-side comparison with a Williams Sonoma dresser. It’s amazing how similar the lines are and the details on the sides and legs are almost identical. You would think this piece was my inspiration, but I just saw it for the first time yesterday! I guess I did something right.

I just love that wreath and the craigslist dresser – both a big hit in my book!
How funny that Williams Sonoma has a similar {but smaller} dresser! I'll bet it costs an arm and a leg, too. That's a neat idea for the door, even if it winds up just being temporary.
I am loving the dresser…. oh my word is beautiful,

As always I love that dresser! And honestly, yours look better than the WSH. and I like starfish! Thanks for the tip about them being at Wal-mart!
The door behind the dresser is a great look. The funny look you got from your husband would be exactly the same look my husband would give…they just don't have the vision 🙂
Happy Holidays.

I think yours looks better than the Williams Sonoma dresser. Plus it was made with love – that's what my daughter always says – things are better when they are made with love.
Merry Christmas with your new dresser and your family and all your attic treasures!

Love the dresser! Love the door!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Like I said in my email, I think YOUR dresser is much better than WS.
Love love love the door behind the other dresser. Stroke of genius, girl !! I never would have thought of it but now if I ever find a pretty door, I know just what to do with it!!
hugs, bj
How cool is it that you have Monkey Balls in your Starfish picture (that's atleast what people in MD call them!) I love them, they remind me of home. Thank you so much for showcasing them!
I love your blog! Thank you so much for sharing!
