As you know, I’m busy getting ready for Lucketts AND I’m participating in a HomeTalk Twitter Chat tonight (I hope you join in), so Kathleen from Between Blue & Yellow has picked favorites for me again. Here they are…
This old dresser got quite the makeover from Kathy of Petticoat Junktion. I love the teal blue with the creamy white. And the distressing gives it that perfectly “beachy look”.
I absolutely fell in love with what Angie from Knick of Time did with her cabinets. She used old ceiling tiles to add character to her cabinet doors. Great idea to add special interest to any kitchen.
And check out this stunning redo of an old secretary. Pam of Simple Details really knows how to bring an out dated piece into this century. You can never go wrong with classic black.
Thanks for the picks, Kathleen!
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.
Enjoy the party!

Oh, that secretary! I’m trying not to covet!
I love your entries so far, especially the seahorse armoire and that black secretary you featured at the top. It is tres chic! I would love to have that at my house. And the seahorse armoire is exactly how I’m feeling about the beach and the seashore right now. I can’t wait to get there!! Good luck with Lucketts.
The ideas and information contained in your blog are great. I think it is good to have carpentry in your house. Nice post!
