Today I made a run over to Goodwill and it was very good to me. Lately, I have been scoring big time, but I do have dry spells, too…just wait. Anyway, I found all of this great stuff at one place for $24.00… This is an antique cobalt blue enamel roasting pan. A great find at $6.97.

That table with the fret work looks like a fabric that is around. I just recently saw it on PK's Room Remix blog in a green and white. Love the dishes! Can't wait to see the transformation of the table.
I am the same way with thrift store/garage sale finds…I go through spells of finding some of the greatest deals and then spells where I can't even find something ugly to walk out with!

You have scored lately on your GW finds. That table was a great buy at under $5.00…I know you will turn it into something fabulous….and I will be anxious to see….I bought a similar table (without the cool fretwork) recently at a thrift store….mine is still waiting for a redo….maybe you can help me with some inspiration!

Those are all great finds, but I think I like the dishes best of all. I've always had a fondness for dragonflies.

Just wanted to mention (and you probably already know this..) to be sure to clean your brass really good with a spray cleaner before you paint it. It tends to puddle and spot if it's not really clean.
By me telling YOU this, it's like telling Noah about the flood !! But…just wanted to mention the cleaning. Be sure to show us your big candle holder when you get it painted..ok?
I have a basket that looks almost exactly like that one. Hubby's grandmother bought it when she lived in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I am about to list it on EBay later this year. I think its cute, but not the style of the house I am doing.

I haven't tackled any furniture ever but this makes me realize how much Ive passed up. Wow! And love that roaster!
I love the end table – do you have any idea how to clean up the leather top? I have 2 old tables with leather tops and they are crackled from dryness
