I’ve been feeling a little mossy lately and my glue gun has been on fire! I’ve made wreaths, ball topiaries, and now some bowl topiaries. I’m going to share the bowl topiary tutorial with you in this post, as well as the events of my day.
I love the winter, but I am looking forward to weather when I can paint again. You should see the stash of furniture in my basement! It’s ridiculous. Whatever the weather, more great makeovers and projects are sure to come!

Happy snow day!

Love the moss and you know, I have bowls like that and leftover moss. Maybe I will try it. We had snow here too…fun for all! Enjoy!
I'm loving your projects! Is this sheet moss? My Walmart only has the reindeer moss, but I prefer the look of yours, which reminds me of the sheets of moss that are more expensive in craft stores.
What a lovely day! My husband and I are enjoying the snow as well.
Those bowls look really chic with the moss. Great idea.
Also, a fun snowy day project.
Burrrr…….You sure got alot of it! Stay warm.
Sounds like the perfect snow day! That soup looks pretty good!
Snow day, baking with the kiddos, homemade soup, decorating… what else could one even possibly wish for? What a perfect day!!
Yes, the soup looks to die for. I'd totally love the recipe (hint hint!)
And your topiarys. No green thumb here. I forgot to water my pointsettia gift and nearly killed that the first week I got it! I need some of those adorable topiarys! Thanks for the tutorial. I'm so making some.
Thanks for linking up to SNS!

I, too, am a plant killer from lack of interest; so this is a great project. Aren't little hands just wonderful to decorate cookies with? They are so proud of their efforts. And, the cookies taste just as good as the fancy ones! Merry Christmas. Sally
How adorable! I love this idea.
That soup looks so yummy. 🙂
Great idea with moss! I love moss, and I am always looking for ways to use it.
Love the project – great as always. Hope you are staying warm and don't have to go anywhere – your blizzard is all over the news!! Only an inch here..

Oh that sweet little hand holding the icing….my little hand grew up…now 21, and has big hands…smiles.
Oh — I love the snow! We had so much in late October, but I'm hoping for more by/on Christmas! And I love all your "snowy day" activities 🙂
Fun snow day! The moss in the silver bowls is very pretty, great idea.
I spent the day baking and candy making. DH went cross country sking in the neighborhood. I don't know how or if we will venture out to church tomorrow. Happy holiday!
A great way to bring in some green during winter months! Merry Christmas!

I love this!!! Great idea!
Just discovered your blog, looking forward to taking a peek through your archives first chance I get!
Bummer, I see you're getting spam in your comments too.
I LOVE the bowls with the floral moss. That opens up a whole arena to add other things on top of that. I think I need to come and craw around in that attic of yours!!
Thanks for sharing.
These look really great!
Just how big was this attic??? 🙂
The moss in silver bowls……I love simple ideas that make big statements.
Wow! This project looks both easy-peasy and beautiful! 🙂
Glad to hear you've enjoyed your snow-days. We're about to get some more here.
Happy Holidays!

We got some snow too. I am from Florida and we have only seen snow once so it was a treat. My parents were up visiting and they were excited also. I don't mind it if I get to stay inside and nest!
