Happy Way Day!

I bet you didn’t know today was a holiday!  Well, it’s the newly proclaimed “Way Day” by Wayfair.  What that means for you is savings better than Black Friday and free shipping on everything from an online resource that has everything under the sun for the home.  Decor, furniture, rugs, wall art, appliances, indoor, outdoor, you name it.  Chairs to chicken coops.  Planters to playgrounds.

And EVERYTHING ships for free.  Even the chicken coops.

I like to buy a lot of my home furnishings second-hand, since I love antiques, but (and their brands like Birch Lane and Joss & Main), have been my favorite resource for natural jute rugs, lamps, and things that need to be sturdy and functional, like dining chairs.

Since spring had finally arrived in Minnesota, I’ve got gardening on the brain, so I’m going to share some of my favorite pieces for decorating outdoor spaces…

My first pick is the …

I got this bench a couple of years ago, before we moved, but I found the perfect spot for it at my new house.  My dad and I have since painted it to match the front door, but here is how it looked unpainted…

It really is a beautiful bench and I loved the patina it was developing from natural weathering outside.

I don’t have this specific rug, but it’s similar to the natural jute rugs I love using indoors so much.  This one is suited for using outside, though, but still gives that natural, woven look.

I have several concrete pots like these and I love how they look aged and weathered.  They are heavy and come in a variety of sizes.

I even use them inside…

I have the on the front door.  I don’t generally like switching out my wreath with every season, so I have a Christmas wreath and a boxwood wreath and that’s it!  The boxwood wreath feels transitional and works for all seasons.

There are  thousands of deep discounts happening today (for only 24 hours), so it’s worth jumping over there to browse around.  I have a few things I’ll be watching to see if they go on sale!

Enjoy the bargains!

    1. Yeah, it’s a big deal, so they are working with a lot of bloggers to get the word out. There are some pretty crazy sales.

  1. I have been wanting a wreath for my front door, and like you, don’t want to keep changing them out.

  2. I seemed to have missed this. Does anyone know if they will do it again? Thanks.
