True Value DIY Blog Squad Q & A

I’m heading down to Lucketts today with my mom to drop off some things in my space and to do some shopping.  Really fun shopping that I’ll tell you about later.  While on the road, though, I’ll be taking full advantage of modern technology and will answer questions asked of me on the TrueValue FaceBook Page using my iPhone.  As most of you know, my specialty is paint, so feel free to ask questions about all types of paint, brushes, rollers, top coats, finishes, etc.  This is also a great time to talk about holiday decorating…’tis the season, right?  You can really ask about anything you want, though.  You have the floor!

Speaking of the True Value Blog Squad, I finally have some projects lined up.  I had grand plans, but realized I just wasn’t up for any major projects, so I decided to tackle some smaller ones.  I’ll be installing some puck lights in my antique Belgian display cabinet at Lucketts to brighten things up there and I just started working on a paint stripping video tutorial.  I chose a beast of a piece to work on with multiple coats of oil based paint, so it was a lot of fun…in a DIY-glutton-for-punishment sort of way! So, those projects will be shared soon.  (And I will share an after picture of the piece I’m working on this time!)

Hope to see you at the DIY Blog Squad Q & A, Thursday, November 29, from 10 am – 5 pm central time.

I was one of the bloggers selected by True Value to work on the DIY Squad. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program as well as my writing about my experience. I have also been compensated for the materials needed for my DIY project. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
