furniture feature friday | favorites & link party

Furniture Feature Friday
Well, it looks like everyone is in the full furniture refinishing swing of things with warmer weather and sunnier skies.  I know it has helped a lot with my motivation in my own home and yard and as I’ve been getting ready for my biggest event of the year.  I’ve been up to my elbows in furniture makeovers, painting sanding, upholstery, etc., so it was nice to take a step back and enjoy browsing some of your projects.  As always, you girls (and sometimes guys) are gooooooood.  I’m often blown away.
Here are a few of my favorites from last week…

This dresser by Gilly of Color Saturated Life?  Wow.  Just wow.  Enough said.

Ashley from Vintage Refined created and built these mudroom “lockers” and they look amazing.  The design is perfectly simple, yet does the job beautifully.

Lastly, Kirby from Kirb Appeal converted an antique dry sink into a real sink. First of all, the faucet and the warmth of the wood are both stunners.  What I love most, though, is how she took a piece of furniture that’s antiquated and most people are stumped by them, and she made it functional for today.

A quick PS before the party.  We will not have FFF next week, because it’s the weekend of the Lucketts Spring Market.  I’ll be posting previews and recaps.  So, we’ll meet back up in two weeks.

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!
