Post Road Vintage $150 Giveaway!

Meet Heather Anderson. She’s a self-proclaimed dreamer, designer, storyteller (and nerd!)  My kind of girl.

She followed one of those dreams and opened her online shop, Post Road Vintage, over 2 years ago.

She sells items that fit her chic, cottage style, including her signature mason jars turned soap dispensers.

…and cute coat racks  made with cool hooks mounted to distressed wood or trim.

Don’t you love her stuff?  I’ve been saving one of her soap dispensers for my half-bath, but it’s too big for the teeny-tiny pedestal sink.  Major bummer.  So, I have to use it somewhere else.

Heather is offering up a $150 credit to spend in her shop to one lucky commenter.  YAY!  If you’d like a chance to win, here’s what you need to do…

For one entry: Simply leave a comment on this post.

For a second chance to win: “Like” Post Road Vintage on Facebook and leave a second comment letting me know you’ve done so.

For one last chance to win: Choose a favorite from the Post Road Vintage Winter Catalog and leave a comment letting me know what it is.

The giveaway will be open through Sunday, January 15, 2012, at midnight PST and is only open to readers over the age of 18 and those living in the lower 48 states.  A winner will be randomly chosen and announced on Monday, January 16, 2012.  Good luck!

All of our fellow travelers from the US and Canada stayed with Russian families for our summer in Izhevsk.  Since I was under 18 and my dad had his own apartment, I would be staying with him.  My dad rented this apartment for a few years, so he had his

slipcovered recliner | take two

I shared a couple of weeks ago that my parents gave us an old recliner that was much better than the Facebook Marketplace recliner we’d been using.  I was hesitant to replace it simply because I spent so much time making a slipcover for it, but it wasn’t the best
